P I was dreading being so close to the train station, I was worried about safety and noise. This hotel is fantastic. The staff is great. The area it is located in is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Great value and convenient location!
I will probably stay here again when I stay in Paris. The location has some major benefits such as across the street from Gare de l'Est but also within walking distance of Gare du Nord. Being near the train station you get some sketchy individuals but I never felt unsafe. The hotel has security which is great and the front desk staff is very helpful and professional. A major bonus is the Metro station Gare de L'Est is right outside the hotel and is a larger metro station with many lines running through it so getting to the the other side of the city in any direction is easy. The hotel room was spacious especially for Europe and the bedding superb. For the price I paid it was an amazing deal. The rooms I feel are well insulated from noise, I didn't feel like the hotel was loud at all.

It was near the train station. I was on the 8th floor which has nice rooms. The are getting ready to remodel which the place needs. But the staff and service are great

The room has not been maintained. The bathroom is poorly remodeled the caulking is turning yellow and molding in places. The toilet paper holder is broken. The craftsmenship In the bathroom is terrible. The carpet is dated and old. The shower door is a poor fit so you have to use a towel to clean up the water.
