No air conditioning here. I forgot to check whether or not this hotel offered air conditioning ("climatisation" in French) when booking, something that was sorely needed here (and expected at the price we paid for our stay). Tiny room (expected) with an upper loft, which made it hot and stuffy in the upstairs bed. They did offer fans (which helped) but then we kept tripping over them (due to the tiny room). Opening the windows wasn't a good option due to the street noise (and outside heat). So we barely slept the couple of nights we stayed here. The overall condition of the hotel, rooms (and especially bathroom) was rather worn and dated (nearly dilapidated). There are definitely better hotel choices at better prices.

Booked a last minute two night stay after deciding to stay in Paris longer. Great location, nice front desk staff who were always helpful with any questions we had. Our room’s internal staircase was a hit with my 18 year old son who enjoyed having the feel of his own space. The room was clean, shower pressure was excellent and the minibar refrigerator drinks were cold! The only downside was that I had a brand new baseball cap taken from the luggage storage room as it is not controlled access but I should have known better and put it on luggage rather than letting it hang on the clip from the luggage. So, I don’t hold

Incredible staff who were so friendly and knew the local area very well! Location convenient - 10 mins to the Louvre, 5-7 mins to local metro stations that can get you across Paris. Nice rooms and comfy furnishings. Really enjoyed the stay here!

The staff were wonderful and friendly and were happy to give recommendations for restaurants and cafes in the area. We arrived at 10am on the day of check in and asked if our room would be ready any earlier and they understandably said that’s not possible and to come back at 3pm. We did this but at 3pm they said the room will be another 40 minutes. We were very tired and this was a big inconvenience as check in time is listed as 3pm. For the rest of the stay there were no issues and staff were very helpful

Amazing! The hotel staff were so kind and helpful! Everytime we left they offered to help us find our way. Someone is always on staff! Rooms are small but perfect as you’re not in them. 10/10 would reccomend and would stay again!

Fantastic central location! Everything you want is walkable. 30 min walk from Paris Est train station. 30 mins to the Louvre. Not much farther to Notre Dame. An hour to the Eiffel tower but it's riverside so you don't even notice the time. Food and shopping everywhere. It's Paris! The hotel is in a 17th century building and that is part of the charm. The young woman at daytime reception was very friendly and helpful. Her recommendations were spot on. A very positive experience here.

Although the location is great, this hotel is very run down. The carpets are worn, the bathroom was in need of a total remodel as is the entire hotel. Also, there is NO air conditioning. It would be unbearable in the summer.

The two rooms we were given were on the first floor were in terrible condition - from cracked tile, exposed pipes, stains on walls, worn, torn and missing carpet, no electrical outlet in the bathroom, no night stands by the bed and exposed concrete on a small ledge that was supposed to pass for nightstands. We were not able to control the temperature in the room - the only option was the window which opened to a busy street and a fan with no where to plug it in. The only good thing was that we only had to stay one night. I would not recommend this hotel….save your money. I have pictures of everything I mentioned but no option to upload with this review.
