Hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are small but are good, comfortable bed, etc. Our room wasn’t cleaned on one of the days so we had to ask for fresh towels, etc.

The location is awesome. Very convenient, safe, and very walkable. The hotel itself is old and sound carries big time. I could hear the people in the next rooms as if they were sharing my room. Sound privacy is nonexistent. Surprisingly, I didn’t hear anyone above me, not sure if the room was occupied or not?? But movement up and down the stairs was very loud. The bathroom, including the shower is very small. If you are a larger person, this would not be comfortable. Using the toilet would be challenging and uncomfortable, there is about a foot of space between the front of the toilet and the wall. The shower is small and messy as water sprays out when using. I didn’t opt for the breakfast, but it looked decent. The coffee on the main floor is complementary, so that was nice and convenient. The staff were all very pleasant and enjoyable.

Great value for a good hotel for a short stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite nice. Room very small, but that was to be expected. Easy walk too many places and transportation.

Overall I had a great stay here. I managed my expectations and knew this would not be a five star experience. However, based on the price I was pleasantly surprised with the room I received. The hotel lobby is a bit cluttered and messy and the hotel needs a general makeover (new paint, carpet, etc) however I had a nice (brief) stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to sleep and store your bags.

A Marais Gem
Perfect location and very comfortable rooms with coffee pot, safe, fridge and great amenities. Our check in was great, the front desk clerk outstanding and he was able to help us add another night and answer all our questions - most accommodating. Really excellent help. There is a comfortable small library and drinks and snacks available which is a nice touch. Breakfast is also available. For seniors there is a lift which is actually great for everyone. Highly recommend.

Charming hotel/location but expected more
Our friends previously stayed at this hotel & recommended to us. The staff was helpful if asked but did not offer any personal assistance such as mentioning free coffee in the lobby, daily housekeeping, nearest metro station and other info when we arrived (we later found in a room binder). Our room and bathroom were extremely small (also may not have been the larger room I originally reserved). Hôtel is in a charming but noisy area during late night/early morn (garbage cans being emptied, etc). This was our first trip to Paris/was expecting more (had no real basis for comparison)
