Filthy property, seriously pick up the trash in front. Elevator broken, had to get to the 5th floor via slow crowded service elevator. Rooms are clean, i think, spots on the floor look like filth but are paint spots and stains. The windows are so close to the next room and angled at each other, you can hear your neighbors conversations. For some reason there is a piece of sheet metal atached to the outside wall between the windows, i think to catch water?, Regardless the intended function it was full of trash and cig butts. No privacy, tne walls are amazingly thin. Internet extra and expensive as is parking. I am prone to stay in cheap hotels when i travel alone but three days here was a huge mistake.

Only stay if you are ok with sleeping in the poor
Stay away! Rude front desk. Wall paper ripped off the wall. Dirty and mould on ceiling in bathroom. Daily cleaning bangs on your door said your most wanted and they are the police. 2am yelling in the hallway kept my family up all night.

Our story starts that we did not make reservations going to Paris. That was by choice and usually, I see rooms available all the time at reasonable rates. On the date of our trip, there must have been something going on in Paris because every hotel was sold out within a 5km radius from the city center. I would recommend this hotel when no other hotel is available. It was reasonably priced and in the morning there are some bakeries a couple streets over in the direction of the train station that are amazing.

Unpleasant car park!!!
Car parking is unpleasant because the car park is too compact and not free to park. The hotel itself is generally ok.

Not worth the cost.
I reached at 9.30am (had mentioned at booking about early checkin) but was told that Hotel is fully occupied & I need to checkin at 2pm. After an hour at 10.30, when I got ready to pay for additional day, I got room within 15 mins. This is not done really, only for 4 hours you took 50 Euros. After 5 days I checked out at 7am, feel free to give room to someone else, thats how mutually it works everywhere. Thankfully the staff atleast gave one day breakfast & internet free but for rest of the days its 6+2 euros additional. Rooms are ok, no refrigerator, no utensils, not even a spoon, bed was horrible - gets pressed deep down to the floor it seems, the rugs were also not clean. Breakfast is ok, it starts at 7am but staff seems to come post 7.30 or 8am, until then you'll find all tables dirty & unattended. Location is good, 5 mins to metro station. I wouldnt have complaint at all if the rates were like 20-30 euros, i am sure hostels are better than this hotel.

Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay
I don't even know where to start with this hotel. I can't really think of any hotel experience as poor as this one. - The ventilation on the bathroom did not work, and had not worked for several years. As a result there was a lot of nasty mold in there - a major health risk! - The room was cleaned with chlorine, which smelled badly throughout the whole stay. - The room was rarely cleaned in the edges and corners. There was a lot of dust and dirt there. - The breakfast buffet consisted of dried out bread with a poor selection of ham, cheese and synthetic jam. - Very poor english skills from the staff, despite advertising with "We speak english". - Poor, poor service and attitude from the staff. As an example they refused to refund 14€ for breakfast despite us cancelling the afternoon before. They referred to rules we had not been told about. - Apparently the best time to vacuum clean the eating area is while the only four guests at the hotel are eating breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, even if it will cost you 50€ extra.

STAY AWAY!!!
9 euros a day to park. In a terrible garage. You have to pay for the whole style even if only using for 1 day parking. The beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The lights did not work in the room half the time. The front desk tried charging me extra because they could not count days correctly. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Suggestions for improvements
Better signage on to the road will help to get there from the railway station. Improved food options in the cafe please. Also some facility for people who check in late to eat other than greasy food would be welcome.

Worst Hotel stay in Paris
Probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in, in Paris. Entrance was dark and dingy. The room had holes in the wall, the bed frame still had the ikea cellophane on it. Cigarette burn holes in the sheets. Out of the 7 hooks on the curtain rail, the curtain was hanging on only the first 2. Honestly dire. I would not recommend, even for the price it is not recommended.

Disappointing
So my friend was staying at this hotel and invited me to join her. I booked myself a room. The photos looked nice on the actual website, but when I got into my room...1st appearance looked ok, not bad, but when I was getting ready for bed, I noticed a lot of mould on the ceiling, lots of mould all over the shower curtains! The wallpaper was falling off. The toilet roll looked like it had been torn off (not a new roll). It was freezing at night. Cold came through the windows and curtains. There was a tiny radiator which I put to full blast. I had to wear extra layers in bed as the duvet was just a sheet with a thin blanket on top. The bed squeaked and moved every time I moved when trying to sleep. The traffic outside was so loud. Other than that, in the morning the staff were rather pleasant. Friendly and polite at breakfast. A very basic breakfast though. All in all this hotel is ok if you are staying briefly. My friend who stayed in a different room didn't mind it at all, so I guess it depends on the person.

I should know better
What is it with the French and 'budget hotels'? All the corridors look like corridors to cells in a police station (I've never been in one but from the TV...) and the rooms are just a little too cramped, the furniture a little too formica and veneer, the beds hard and unforgiving, the heating or ventilation rudimentary, the TV lacking in international stations and the sachets of shower gel too thin to be useful. OK - so I should know better, but in most other countries for what I paid I'd expect something more like a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge in the UK. So this criticism is more general than specific to the Hipotel. However to BE specific. The restaurant served up a limited menu - I chose the steak which was the most inedible piece of meat I've ever eaten. The abundance of fries didn't make up for the really diabolical 'steak'. I paid for Wifi (Not expensive, at €3.00 per 24 hours, but then found that having logged in on my phone, i was then unable to do so on my laptop or my iPad. SO I had to buy another access code for the laptop. Why not allow one code to be supported on more than one device? Or at least tell me when I bought the voucher so I could have just used it on the laptop. The shower head was broken so had to be hand held. Breakfast was underwhelming. The room was clean, though and receptionist courteous. Overall - overpriced for what you get I'd say - even at the budget end. But if you just want a bed for the night, close to the station - it's OK.
