We had a downstairs room in the tiny courtyard. The room was small but adequate. Decorated in a French feeling decor. The staff was all very helpful. Very walkable. Musée de Orsay, the Louvre,, all an easy walk. Many little café s and restaurants nearby

Beautiful boutique hotel. Really nice touches like bottle of wine in room and breakfast included. Affordable for Paris. Convenient location to walk to shops and restaurants but quiet. Would absolutely stay again.

We only stayed one night because we were connecting for an early morning flight. But will definitely stay again on a future trip to Paris. Nice neighborhood street but also close to major St Germaine avenues so well located. Our room faced the back though we would have liked one overlooking the street BUT we discovered we had a sliver view if the Eiffel tour from our window! A fun surprise.

Great little hotel in a fantastic neighborhood!
Hotel Saint Germain is very well located. Easy walking distance to the D’Orsay, Musee Rodan, Petit Palais, Louvre, Saint Chapelle and Notre Dame. This is a fairly quiet neighborhood & not very touristy. All of the staff were extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic! The shower can be tricky for an older person to get in and out of (mostly because the edge of the tub I very high and the space between the corner of the sink and tub is very small). My 73 year old mother managed ok, but it’s something to keep mind for older travelers.

Hotel Saint Germain very clean and conveniently located in an area where many attractions a short distance away. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Special mention for the gentleman who served us breakfast every morning, as he always went above and beyond. If we return to Paris, we will definitively stay at Hotel Saint Germain again.

Nice location not so nice room
This is a nice little hotel in a great area. This staff was pretty helpful and very nice. We paid for a superior room but still got a pretty small room. We had to move a table just to get our luggage to fit on the floor. Even then we blocked a clean set door. The worst part was the shower. It was sideways and there was no possible way to take a shower and not soak the floor. All the extra hand towels were used to cover the very slippery tile floors. I'm guessing this was a one off because of the shape of our room. It was very uncomfortable to shower in. Another thing was they made you leave your key at the front desk whenever you left the property. There was always someone at the front desk but more often than not, we had to wait a couple of minutes for them to show up. If you don't mind small European rooms then I highly recommend it but if you expect a decent size room when you pay extra then you will be disappointed.

Very cute hotel, located in a nice location with many bistros and cafes, as well as a big shopping mall one block away. The staff was very nice and pleasant, always ready to help. Rooms were very nice, clean. Great experience overall.
