Changed our room to a stinky 2 bedroom "cabin". There was a powerful "scent" generator going when we entered the room. Noxious scent, sickeningly weird smell. After 24hrs the true smell of the room arrived. Lumpy bed and poor shower too. Sliding glass door with simple key entry, poor room security.

The space was fantastic and very good value. The studio suite was spacious and laid out in a practical way with a sofa and dining table near the bed. The balcony was also spacious, and I imagine lovely on sunnmer evenings. The mini kitchen was fully stocked and convenient, and the rain shower in the bathroom was a soothing surprise. The only downside was a strong perfume-like scent that even permeated the dishes. I imagine it came from scented cleaning products. If someone is scent sensitive, that could be a problem. I hope they will consider using scent-free products to make the experience absolutely perfect.

Very comfy beds and tidy room, but did notice that it wasn’t as clean as it could have been! Dropped something under the bed and noticed lots of dust and dirt under there, as well as the bathroom floorboards and shower stall frame very dusty/dirty. The staff in office etc were very friendly and nice.would like to stay there again, hopefully it will be cleaner 🙂

A quality check how nice.
The front desk Chris was very nice but the really nice thing was that they called us shortly after we got settled, they called on the house phone just to check and see if we were happy with their room! Basically a QUALITY CHECK! I have never had a quality check at a hotel or motel before, restaurants yes but a motel, never. Very nice thank you Sea Edge, everything was great we will be back!

Very nice for the price. Our room was right on the beach. Recently renovated and very clean. Only complaint is that the beds need updated. Noisy box frame and uncomfortable mattress. Linens and pillows were great.
