Villa Melpomeni is a 300 sq. meter townhouse, situated in a traditional & picturesque village “Marpissa” of Paros island. It is ideal for large groups of guests & it can easily provide accommodation for at least 10 individuals.
There is a bus stop next to the house and the nearest beach is within 15 – 20 min walk. Nearby beaches are : Logaras beach, Punda beach, New Golden beach, Piso Livadi port, Kalogeras & Molos beaches and Kaminaki beach. Other island beaches (i.e Golden beach, Dryos beach, Lolantoni, Faragas, Tsoukalia, Santa Maria, Kolimbithres, Ambelas, Krios, Saint Irene) and villages (i.e Dryos, Prodromos, Lefkes, Kostos, Naousa, Paroikia, Aggeria, Aliki) on the island are accessible from the house by car or motorcycle within 10 to 25 minutes.
Public transportation is available during the entire year. Paros airport is within 20 minute drive.
Melpomeni mansion, surrounded by a large garden - yard of olive, lemon, fig & myrtles trees, is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, close to a chapel, an athletic stadium, shopping center (with groceries shop, bakery, pharmacy, hardware store, hair dresser’s), flower shop, furniture workshop, carpentry, taverns, butcher shop, car service and others.

In particular, the mansion has 4 entrance doors, 4 spacious bedrooms with windows, 3 neat rest rooms, a large living room adjacent to a second living room, both ideal for relaxing, reading or working with laptops, a spacious kitchen with comfortable dining space, equipped with all amenities for meal preparation including refrigerator, as well as 3 nice balconies at the exterior with floor of marble or stone slabs. Internet access is doable from all over the house, including wired and WiFi access. Color TV HD monitors are installed in all bedrooms and the living room. An external shower can be found in the garden. The house provides for cold and hot water and drying and ironing cloths. Marpissa village is permanently inhabited by at least 600 people, population that grows significantly during summer months. Its main attractions are the clusters of white cubic houses lying cyclically on a hillside, several small, white byzantine churches, colorful backstreets, hidden squares and the neighboring hill of Saint Antonios, with a small monastery on the top of the hill surrounded by remnants of a medieval castle. The village is a well-known place for several cultural events during the year, especially in summer, "Routes in Marpissa" event and Greek Easter events being the most prominent ones. Piso Livadi, the sea port of Marpissa, and the settlement of Logaras beach (both of them within walking distance) are notable tourist attractions, comprising many hotels, villas, cafes, tourist shops, bars & restaurants adjacent to the seaside. Rich night life is present at Piso Livadi, Logaras, Naousa and Paroikia. Nearby Punda beach is famous for its beach bars, seaside partying and sports activities. Nearby New Golden beach is famous for sea sport activities. From the port of Piso Livadi, tourists have the opportunity to embark on small boats for daily excursions to Naxos ιsland and other nearby small islands, such as Koufonissia, Iraklia and Antiparos.
