Short on expectations
Upon arriving at the hotel, everything initially appeared satisfactory. However, upon opening the refrigerator, we discovered it was dirty, with residue that could only be cleaned by disassembling it. The provided dish soap bottle was diluted with water, rendering it ineffective. The most concerning issue was the sofa bed. The sheets were riddled with holes, and one of the pillowcases had visible dry blood stains. When I reported this to the front desk, I was instructed to leave the sheets out so they could be replaced. I was also promised a credit for the inconvenience, but this credit was never issued. Additionally, the hotel requires guests to request room cleanings 24 hours in advance. While we did not request a cleaning due to being out frequently, one evening we returned to find that housekeeping had entered our room. They made the beds and left some towels but did not remove trash or clean. This partial service was puzzling and disappointing. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations due to these issues.

Home away from Home
Staff were friendly. Check-in and out was fast and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. It felt like home away from home with convenient amenities. The lobby, hall ways elevator and breakfast area were clean. However the back entrance and elevator can use some more care. Stayed there for New Year's Eve to New Year's Day so parking was free. In general, do not understand why they charge for parking and/or why it needs to be paid separately. However, I would definitely stay there again.

I want to commend one staff member, Celena, for being very helpful to us. She's a keeper. Also, breakfast was very good. On the other hand, the property shows its age. And, the bottom (fitted) sheet didn't stay tucked under the mattress. I thought the bed was too soft, but my wife found it to be okay.

Extremely dirty. Front desk person was not there when we tried to check in for 10min then showed up with a plate of greasy chicken and went to the back to eat it before bringing us the sheets for the pullout.

The room is large. The kitchen was helpful since there is no restaurant unlike what the website said. I specifically looked for a hotel with a restaurant. Would have cancelled but had a no cancellation agreement. Very disappointing. The facilities are dated though clean. Could use fleshing up. Very difficult to access the entrance.
