Loved the layout of the room and lighting (softer lamps vs the more modern harsh ones). Room was clean and very spacious with large windows. The only thing that threw me off at first was the paid parking of $15/night. The rates for the room were cheaper than I would have expected for that area and on the holiday, so I think it probably came out as usual $$ total. I just never had to pay for parking at a hotel where it is expected you would definitely be staying the night. The lot also wasn’t small or tight at all. Plenty of openings. But other than that, would consider stating again as long as the room rate itself isn’t already higher.

Called near 11pm and spoke to a man who said he would give us a AAA discount. The price was amazing! I knew about the parking fee and security deposit. Yet after he was done listing fees, the total price was more than double the original amount. So i went online and found the same room for less than the price that he originally offered. Upon arrival, there was a man checking in before us and it seemed he was a "member". He was given instructions for his stay in great detail. When we approched the desk, the employee(different person than the one i spoke to on the phone) was cold and gave no information at all. Not directed to our room, which number, time of breakfast, check out, ect. The room we entered was freezing, heat wouldnt work. Halls smelled of smoke, loud kids next door. Thankfully we were given another room on the 3rd floor. Which was the only kind thing done. It seems the 3rd floor is much nicer and maybe they discriminate unless a member or seem to have alot of money? The 3rd floor room was much nicer as far as furniture, quiet, smelled great, seemed cleaner, ect. The overnight employee just seemed angry and didnt speak to us when we bought snacks other than a price. Not even a response when we said "thank u" or "have a good night". Pretty sure i saw eye rolling. The cleaning staff seemed friendly though we wont be returning.

Nice stay
The room was nice size and pretty quiet. Had to pay for parking which is not stated until you arrive at check in. Breakfast was ok but staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people. Lighting in bathroom needs to be improved but the stay was enjoyable.

Upon booking, we had high expectations that our stay at Hyatt Place would be comfortable and relaxing. However, it was exceedingly noisy. A little here and there is totally fine and not worth noting and wouldn’t require a review but the wall are quite thin, and we could hear the cleaning carts rolling back and forth, the slamming of doors all through the night, the kitchen appliances humming randomly at night super loud.. etc… It was so disturbing I turned up some ambient noise on both corners of the room to somewhat redeem the much needed peace and quiet. The staff is friendly, through the brief exchanges checking in & out, rooms are decent and clean but I did not feel well rested staying here. Will not be coming back.

Unfortunately, this hotel is quite a bit older. One thing to know is that all the Hyatt houses in Hyatt in the area are now charging for parking. I booked this before they started charging for parking. So just a heads up if you don’t know it when you get there you will have to pay for parking. The hotel itself could use some updating. The plugs in the lamps are not strong enough to support a USB cord to charge anything. It could just use a little bit of updating and new technology. The couch in our room was so old that when you sat on it, you sunk really deep in to an empty base. The coffee maker look like it went through the war so I didn’t use it. The whole room could’ve used a giant deep clean.
