Loved the georgian architecture. Staff was friendly, gracious, helpful and kind. We really loved walking around the interior and looking at the stunning wedding venues. You must see Rod's train cars for their private dining options. Lunch at the Red Dog Tavern was delicious, and our waiter Steven gave us great recommendations. Sitting in the guest areas were comfortable and especially cozy with the fireplace. There were a few minor cosmetic issues with the room but it was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Unfortinetly google pictured a pool, but they no longer have one. You cannot skip dinner at Rods Steak house, superb service and food.

We stay here often as it is near my sister's home and adjacent to NJ Transit stop for easy trip to NYC. Rooms are modern and Red Dog Tavern has a good menu and reasonable prices.

Was very happy with our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was incredible. Everything from the lobby to the room was clean. Staff at the front desk were very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was great. We would stay there again!!

Our room was lovely - well decorated and comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would ask for a room away from the ballrooms to avoid noise. The restaurant next door was terrific - with train vintage pullman cars to dine in, an excellent bar, great service, and the surf & turf was delicious.

Very nice hotel. Modern room. Satellite dishes service kept freezing the entire stay. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good free continental breakfast. Morristown is conveniently located to major highways. For a couples getaway weekend. We enjoyed our stay.

One of our favorite hotels. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. The adjacent restaurant is really good as the included breakfasts in the morning. Getting to Madison and Morris is easy and New York is reachable by way of the train station across the street.

the judgment of a hotel is not how they treat you when everything is going well but how they fix issues when they arise. My parents stayed at The Madison Hotel over the weekend for their first visit to NJ after we relocated. Unfortunately, our house wasn't ready so the hotel was the next best option. Great location and independent feel, there was an issue with their room but after night one, the issue was resolved, the staff was apologetic and helpful and quick to fix... and then followed up several times to make sure all was well. They followed that with some discounting to "buy them a drink" at the great adjoining steakhouse, Rod's, during their stay and it was great. they were so happy with their stay and the staff... Thanks to all!

Beautiful area with lots of trees. Hotel has been remodeled which is nice. Our room was clean and staff was friendly. The gym is nice too and free breakfast is decent. The attached restaurants are overpriced and the food is absolutely terrible unfortunately. There are not other dining options in walking distance. And sadly the restaurant didn’t honor the $20 coupon given to us at check in. Overall would stay there again, but would not eat at the restaurant.
