The room was beautiful! The entire hotel was refurbished to its glory days- but only into a hotel, not an office building! So glad someone restored it! Such a unique building!! The original office doors are such a cool feature to each room. The pillows. Those gotta change. No one wants to use these tiny 12x12 square hard pillows, even if you are given 5 of them. If those were changed out, you’d have a 10 out of 10 from me!!

The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants (especially if you’re interested in the pioneer woman businesses). Parking wasn’t as convenient, not a huge problem, however . The old building isn’t at all soundproof and the room was pretty bright at night. Bring a pair of ear plugs and a sleep mask. Over all, we enjoyed it, though.

A truly wonderful hotel. Gorgeous renovated building, great staff, ENORMOUS and sparkling clean rooms. This is a must for anyone visiting Pawhuska!

AMAZING historic hotel
This is an exceptional hotel! The photos in the listing are accurate, but in person it is stunning!! Renovated historic building with so many unique details still present and lovingly maintained. Beautiful art on every floor. Our room is ENORMOUS, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. We got here a day early so booked an extra night to add to our existing reservation and consider this “error” (on our part) a true blessing. Love, love, love this place. AMAZING hotel and wonderful staff.

The hotel is beautiful; real door keys and mail slots on each guest room. We had a small kitchen and a separate sitting area - a very spacious suite with comfortable beds and pillows! Right across the street from Pioneer Woman’s mercantile and the theater

Book Here over the Boarding House!
I had wanted to visit Pawhuska for awhile and stay at the Boarding House however, it’s always been unavailable. We were able to book the Frontier Hotel and I am SO glad we did. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! The room was so amazing. Comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in aside from my own! We stayed on a Saturday night so beware, nothing is open on Sunday! Our room faced the Merc so we were able to get some amazing photos. I truly loved our stay!

From the moment we walked through the door, I knew this hotel was special. We received such a warm welcome and pretty much the choice of whatever room we wanted. We opted to go up and wound up with the most breathtaking room on the top floor. Everything was perfect… Comfortable bedding, beautiful views, and so much charm. Every time we passed the front desk, we were greeted and received recommendations on food joints and coffee shops. It was just the perfect anniversary stay, and we will definitely be back.

This is an interesting historical hotel to stay in. But what I really love is the location- right across the street from the Pioneer Woman mercantile, the P-town pizza place , Charlie’s Sweet Shop and small boutiques. You do have to park your car a block down the street. The decor is kind of a western theme. And our room was big with a high ceiling and 8 windows.

The hotel was located right in the middle of all the activities, so that was very convenient. The beds were pretty comfy, the kitchenette was nice and the layout was unique. However the shower was a little dirty and the rug in the room had multiple stains on it. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel.

It was originally office units, it would be nice if there were vending machines as there is limited options after 7 pm! I prefer full size pillows rather than the cubes on the bed! Staff is limited and so is their schedule. The staff is pleasant and willing to carry a conversation with you. Oh the HOT water is very HOT!!
