Designed to delight, this adorable bungalow is equipped to impress! Amenities include full kitchen, coffee-maker & Keurig, in-unit washer & dryer, all-new furniture, high-speed wifi, smart TV, and various easter eggs for the Potterheads.

No stairs at this property. One full bathroom with shower in the tub. This place includes smart tv in living room, full size kitchen, small dining area, a laundry area with washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms, each has one queen bed.

Have the entire place to yourself! No need for keys! This unit is armed with digital lock and guests will be provided with unique entry code.

If you’ve never been to Pekin, it’s a bit of an odd city. It’s got some cool places to see like the World’s Greatest Sundial. Some of the nice outdoors areas to visit: Coal Miner’s Park, Pekin Lagoon, Mineral Springs Park, and Putt the Magic Dragon

I was on a business trip and needed a place to stay that was more comfortable than a hotel and this was it. Lots of streaming channels, keurig coffees, tea, and a kitchen with anything you would need to cook food. The host, Matt, was very responsive to any questions and instructions about how to get in were really clear!

I only stayed for one night and the property was very cute and quiet. If you're into Harry Potter there were lots of little details to enjoy. I would have liked if the place was a little cleaner but since I was only there for one night it didn't impact me much. To be fair, I didn't have the chance to address this with the owner given I arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning. It was a nice and well equipped apartment if you were staying for longer.

Great stay in Pekin

Property included everything needed to ensure a great stay. Everything was well appointed and the owner went out of their way both with communication and supplying the space to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Small touches such as curtains allowing for the bedroom to be nice and dark were appreciated. There were ample pillows and blankets. The coffee setup was also a nice touch. We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice and quiet space to stay in Pekin, IL.

Location good. The bedroom on the left had very uncomfortable mattress! The coffee pot in the picture was missing. Had to repair door knob to bathroom. It was falling off. Handle on stove came off on one side when we opened oven door. Screwed that back in. Had to buy a battery for the fan remote in the room on the left to use the fan. Overall good experience

Just what I needed

My stay in Pekin was for medical reasons. Although I am from Pekin, with friends and family living there, my stay involved a medical procedure and a day or so of recovery. The VRBO experience was better than a traditional hotel, as it was more accommodating. This one was located conveniently in a quiet neighborhood that was close to everything that I needed.

I enjoyed the residence! The Harry Potter themed decor. Very nice, clean and comfy beds! A little more difficult for my elderly mother getting up and down from nice but soft, low furniture. I would recommend grab bars in the tub/shower area for us older folk. We had one incident of loud music in adjoining duplex but all in all we were there for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much!

Comfortable, central location

The house is a mid-century gem in a quiet location on a secluded court off of Park Avenue and not far from the hospital and Mineral Springs Park. The vaulted ceiling makes the home feel more spacious. The decor is comfortable and fun with subtle and obvious nods to Harry Potter. We had fun looking for the connections to the books/films. We did not use the kitchen for cooking, although it appeared well-equipped. The house served as a good home base for a family visit.
