Podere Benedettino of 1700, recently renovated in full respect of its history, located on the slopes of the natural reserve of Vallombrosa, immersed in the woods, just 29 km from Florence.

The portion of farmhouse dedicated to rent has about 110 square meters of property with three bedrooms, kitchen, hall, entrance hall and two bathrooms.

Podere Gualpoli is the place to rediscover your peace and relax immersed in a unique setting, where you can enjoy a charming private garden with infinity pool, overlooking the beautiful hills of Frescobaldi vineyards and Castello di Nipozzano.

There are three rooms available:

the master, large and harmonious, has a double bed, the second intimate and welcoming, offers a further double and finally the third, comfortable and gracious with two single beds.

In addition, in the large living room, you will find a sofa bed, usable in case of need.

You can take advantage of the characteristic kitchen, equipped and equipped with all the necessary amenities to prepare and enjoy a wonderful breakfast, with fresh products of the day, perhaps consumed, by the pool, accompanied by the chirp of sparrows that populate the garden.

You will have a large private garden, swimming pool, barbecue, wood oven, swings, armchairs, sofas and a beautiful fireplace where you can spend the evening with friends, perhaps, a good book and a pleasant warmth. You will also have the opportunity to listen to your favorite music in different corners of the garden, to fully enjoy unforgettable moments.
Always inside, you will find the car park.

The salt pool is always at your disposal, a beautiful 10 meters by 5, with infinite edge, overlooking the typical Tuscan landscape.
Equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, armchairs, tables, umbrellas and solar shower.

Upon arrival you will find all the necessary linen, bathrobes, towels and towels for the pool that will be changed every weekend. In case you need to do laundry you will have a washing machine available. Bathrooms have a shower and bathtub.

The connection is unlimited and free, you will have a good signal wherever you go, even by the pool. The password of the WiFi network will be given to you upon your arrival.
Within the estate there are about 25 hectares of forest, with paths, streams and corners of paradise.

You will discover many animal species, squirrels, deer, roe deer, and birds of all kinds.

There are also several ancient oaks, which characterize the territory with their majesty.

If you are a fan of the Montain Bike, just start from home to discover the roads and routes usually used by amateur and non-cyclists.

If, however, you want to walk, no problem, the forest has many trails that branch off plunging into the undergrowth, rich in unique fauna and flora, until you get to the reserve of Vallombrosa and Consuma. You will also have a map where the Trekking routes are marked.
Just leave the house to find you already on the most beautiful trails in the area.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa OUTSIDE of Florence
Anna was just a delightful host - because we came in late, we asked if she could provide us a simple meat/cheese tray (at our cost of course) and she provided a 4 course home made meal!!!! It was fantastic and we ate leftovers for our entire stay. The villa is just beautiful and had everything we needed and more - be sure to come in warm weather to use the pool. It's a perfect home base to explore the area - but be prepared to drive the curvy roads - which is half the fun!

Incredible View and setting
We spent 5 nights at this villa. It is up the hill away from Florence but that is what makes it a perfect getaway. Home is clean and kitchen is stocked well. No AC but the breezes cooled us off at night. Beds are comfy. Pool is perfect and the view is unforgettable. It takes about 25 minutes to travel to the nearest grocery store and the bus station to travel to Florence to see the sights. Besides that we mostly just enjoyed the tranquility, views and warm accommodations. Highly recommend asking about a full meal. Anna and her daughter made it a memorable and delicious feast.

A little slice of heaven
Our trip to Podere Gualpoli was nothing short of heavenly and Annamaria was the resident angel! The property grounds were beautiful with an incredible infinity pool and beautiful trees and shrubbery. The home was comfortable and well thought out. I loved the large picture windows letting in so much natural light and giving a wonderful view of the countryside. Annamaria was a wonderful host who was readily available if you needed information. Such a warm and vibrant woman; she instantly felt like family. She made us a delicious dinner our first night. While the house was secluded, it was easy to go into the town of Pelago as well as explore other areas. I highly recommend eating dinner at Leonia’s in town. It is still, hands down, one of my favorite meals I’ve had in Italy! I also recommend visiting the nearby Castello di Poppi. My grandchildren really enjoyed it. It was also easy to get the train in Pontessieve and go Into Florence. It took less than 30 minutes. I would definitely stay at Podere Gualpoli again!

Fabulous Tuscan Villa!
We had a wonderful holiday at Podere Gualpoli. The villa is well-appointed with everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax outside of Florence. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The views are incredible! Annamaria and Simone were so welcoming. There were lovely welcome gifts and fresh eggs. When the washer broke, Simone finished my son’s laundry at home and returned it the next day. The washer was also replaced the next day. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing Tuscan holiday.

Can’t Wait to Return!
This gorgeous Tuscan Villa was everything I had dreamed of for my 60th birthday! Surrounded by family with amazing views and proximity to Florence and all that Tuscany has to offer. The hosts went above and beyond to assure our stay was perfection. The birthday dinner that Anna and Sarah prepared will be remembered forever. Best meal we had in Italy…and we had some good ones! We loved ending the day toasting the sunset while lounging at the infinity pool. Commuting to Florence was easy but don’t miss the nearby smaller villages, local trattorias, gelato, and forested hikes. I can’t say enough about Podere Gualpoli!

Absolutely Incredible Property!! Wish I Could Give More Than 5 Stars!!
The family who owns the home has worked hard and made this property such a special, comfortable space. Everything is intentional and well thought out. The house is absolutely beautiful and was spotless and smelled fresh, we were all smiling from the moment we drove up until we left! I can't say enough about the home, the impeccable outdoor spaces, and the gorgeous views of Tuscany. We also booked a massages with Sarah and homemade meal with Anna and Sarah and everything was wonderful- some of the best food of our trip. I wish we could have stayed longer, it was our favorite rental of any at which we've ever stayed. Beyond the incredible property though, is the amazing family who owns and maintains it- such incredible people and we will always remember their kind hearts and amazing hospitality. There was a possibility I was going to need a doctor during my stay and Anna went above and beyond to be helpful. Simone also helped us during our stay, and all communication was extremely quick and helpful. If you have the chance to stay here, definitely do it!!!

An Amazing Place with Amazing Host
The property is in the high hills east of Florence and 300 m higher in elevation, so it is noticeably cooler. The views are incredible, especially the sunset view across the infinity pool all the way to Pontassieve. There is a COOP market in Pelago, 10 minutes away, and larger stores in Pontassieve. The rooms are large and airy, the pool and hot tub are wonderful, but the absolute best asset is the host. Annamarie, her husband, son and daughter were responsive and even made an amazing four course dinner on the evening of our our arrival ( our request) . Our stay was marked by a lot of rain, which literally 'put a damper' on our outdoor activities, but it was a special time ,nonetheless.

This was a wonderful, scenic location for a get away. The hosts were absolutely lovely, accommodating and responsive. The view from this farmhouse is utterly breathtaking. I recommend a 4WD vehicle to help with the climb up to the farmhouse. The pool is not heated so unfortunately we did not get to enjoy that. Next time I would go in June I think. Thanks for the memories!!!!

Three generations loved this stay!
Our group consisted of my septuagenarian parents, my husband, and our six year old, and all three generations loved our stay at the villa. The photos show only half of this place's charm because photos can't capture how quiet and serene it is. A true retreat. Our stay coincided with unusually hot temperatures, but the fans in each bedroom kept us comfortable at night, and of course the pool kept us cool during the day. That view is breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few simple meals. We booked Anna to cook for us on our arrival night. It was a highlight, and we ate her leftovers for the next three days! Anna is a stellar host. She, Simone, and Sara were there to meet us upon arrival with welcome gifts and a thorough tour. I also booked Sara for a massage which was heavenly. Due to this place's remote location, a car is a must. Be sure to eat a meal at Boccon' Divino.

If you’re looking for a quite, relaxing get away with the most incredible view from the top of a mountain.... look no further. This property is one of the nicest you’ll find anywhere in the world. Every night an amazing sunset will wow you beyond your wildest dreams. Every morning you will wake to the sound of crowing roosters and another breathtaking view. Sit and drink your morning coffee as the sun slowly burns off the fog in the valley, revealing the quaint towns below. The property is first class, spotlessly clean and wonderfully decorated. I slept so well here I didn’t want to leave. As amazing as the views and home are, the owners are even better. AnnaMaria and Alberto are wonderful hosts who thrive on pleasing their guests. I’d strongly recommend having them prepare a meal for you. We did on our first night there and were amazed by everything we ate and drank. The pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and so much more will offer you a wide variety of choices for slowing down and relaxing. The nearest town is a short 20 minute drive where you’ll find restaurants and a grocery store to stock your shelves. This property is magical, and the owners are loving people. It’s a 10 star destination.... Leave the world and all your stress behind you...book it today.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Anna Maria and Alberta met us the 1st evening and walked & explained the property with us. The home is well kept and very clean & accommodating . Very private and beautiful setting. For an extra fee Anna Maria prepared us an amazing welcome dinner and then we also asked her to prepare another meal for one of our birthday. The food was excellent! She even lit a birthday candle in the dessert. The home and the hosts are exceptional. We are 3 couples traveling together and we all really enjoyed our 6 nights here.

Amazing Villa with Awesome Views

We felt like we were family. Such caring and thoughtful hosts. We had an extravagant Italian meal cooked by Anna Maria antipasto , Pate cannelloni beans, salad two pastas. Turkey and potatoes and dessert. Wonderful. The place was immaculate and welcoming. Music by the pool as you gazed across at your Mountain View. Exceptional, Spacious, Stylish. Great Hosts, Huge Privacy, Huge Views
Out of all our wonderful stays at exceptional properties throughout Italy, the spacious grounds, stylish lodging and ample amenities puts this hilltop villa at the forefront. With huge views across the Tuscan countryside and massive privacy, the estate is arrived at the end of a long private drive up a rugged but very navigable dirt road. Gated and occupying the crown of a hill all by itself, the ambience is at once authentic and exclusive. Though the cool weather did not encourage a dip in the inifinity pool, it is a joy to behold. One can lounge on the deck and contemplate it and the outlying scenic views for hours. The house is notable and historic and has been beautifully remodeled with quality details everywhere, there is much space here to accommodate gatherings or families, and the fireplace burns real wood, which is amply supplied. A final note, we can't say enough about the graciousness and warmth of the mother-son owners, Anna Maria and Simone. Their assistance was extended generously in making us feel welcomed and at home on our arrival and then they discreetly disappeared, leaving the care and use of their treasured villa to us with complete trust. Thank you both. Staying here, and wandering the city of Florence, was an immersive and unforgettable experience.
