On check-in, the desk person seemed displeased that the reservation had been made through Expedia.
The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Everything else about the room was pleasant.
There was an exit door at the back of the second story that led down to the parking lot. We were chastised about using it because "it was a fire door only and was supposed to be locked (?????)". We were also advised that the garden at the bottom of those steps was "her private garden" and that we weren't supposed to be in it.
Who locks a fire door? Why have the steps leading into a "private garden"
There was no sign advising that the door was a "fire door only".
Great little find. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and tasty breakfast. Didn’t try the evening meals as I’d met friends for dinner elsewhere. My only slight gripe is that they provide sachets of shower gel and shampoo that are fiddly to open when wet and contain next to nothing. Bottles would be better. The staff were also super friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay there again
Good experience all in all but I will say that the staff all come across as amateurs. Very pleasant but inexperienced. The only thing that let it down was the mattress. All the furniture and bathroom fittings were good quality but the mattress in room 14 was awful.
Overall a good experience however given the hot weather there could have been a fan given as was very uncomfortable at night
We had ordered breakfast in the morning and my partner got his but mine had been forgotten i would have liked to had breakfast together as we had made plans to go to tenby which caused major delays
Very nice hotel food was excellent staff friendly. One complaint in hot weather like we are experiencing this June maybe fans could be included in rooms as very hot to sleep.
Convenient location. Great breakfast. Plentg of parking.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Everything was good except for little things that didn't add up to making our stay comfortable - the lowest temperature on the shower was way too hot and the toilet roll mechanism was not working properly.
Otherwise, a clean, convenient hotel with friendly staff.
Friendly good welcome at reception upon arrival. Very comfortable room with King size bed. Evening meal was very tasty with large portions so make sure you are hungry!! My wife opted for the childrens' portions and just about finished it.
Clean room with good facilities

Friendly staff, good hotel, excellent breakfast
Stayed for a short break. Good for visiting the castle, and exploring Pembroke. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed good rest. The rain shower was a nice touch. Freshly cooked breakfast was decent and sets you up for the day.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House Hotel at Pembroke. It's location was great with the castle at the bottom of the road, shops and places to eat nearby. The wonderful coast of Wales with amazing beaches. A great place to spread out from to see and do lots of things. The room was comfortable if a little dated, family on the trip with us had refurbished rooms with bigger beds and better showers. It was still ok though. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. The staff were were very friendly and helpful.
