Not quite what we expected
The cottage has a lovely ambiance and the furnishings were a great mix of old and new. Bathroom is spacious with a big bath for that relaxing soak. Everything provided that we needed for our week long stay.
The cottage is in a small village but the road directly outside is quite busy throughout the day with traffic incl buses and lorries which wasn't really what we expected.
Parking is directly outside providing you don't have a car with a low chassis as you are literally parked across a kerb. To avoid the possibility of damaging our vehicle we did try parking across the road outside the white bungalow but the owner came out and told us to move!
Low water pressure upstairs meant it took ages to fill the bath and washing your hands or having a shower wasn't possible if you had the taps on downstairs.
Unfortunately the description doesn't include the fact the cottage has restricted height doors (max 5ft 10) so my partner (who is 6 ft 3) spent all week ducking his head!
