The room was a average budget room.wifi was quite good for working but everything else was just acceptable. A definate funky floor smell and room smell was what gave this rating a below average rating .

Toilet was broken. Hotel maintenance guy was great but had his work cut out. Had to flush with waste paper basket and cistern lid off. Got back late, zero towels. Called up, yes frustrated after no toilet for 2 days and now no towels, copped a mouthful from reception. Steer clear.

Walls are thin so could hear people talking from both sides, big gap under front door meant we could also hear people in the hallway. People coming and going all hours or the night with doors slamming. Stayed a week and didnt get one night of solid sleep due to all the noise. But hey have secure parking which was handy.

I liked the balcony room on the 5th floor. The room could do with a spring clean including the air filter in the bathroom. The bathroom is terribly small and the shower temperature erratic between hot and cold. Generally the staff were not friendly from check in to house keeping to checkout. The location is excellent with easy access to the river and free transport. I didn’t try the onsite restaurant as there are so many good options surrounding the hotel. I think it was fairly well priced for what you get.

We appreciated that what you saw on the website was what we got. ie - no lying photos. The breakfast situation was really good too. FOH staff day and evening shift were really friendly and great ambassadors for your hotel. We did not have any of these experiences at first Perth Hotel.

Reception was very average, had problem with no cold water in shower, no one got back to us, had to go down to reception then they changed our room. Breakfast and parking are included which is a bonus. Very good breakfast and the property is well located.
