Room Very Basic. Tidy. Bathroom, shower tiles badly worn, handbasin chipped and badly worn. Not of a standard, acceptable for the enjoyable stay. $300 bond. Excessive. Not only that a week later and bond still not refunded. Would we return, no.

Good location and bed/pillow were very comfortable. TV was a bit difficult to get something to watch and the bathroom was out dated. Overall value for money.

Hotel Clipper is under upgrading at present in a great area opposite large park, very ckose to beach, cafe’s and has a cafe of its own which I frequent when staying there. The food is quality.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was wonderful, very close to everything, however, I didn’t sleep at all the whole time I was there because the bed was riddled in bed bugs or flees, I was scratching like crazy and had rashes all over myself, it was very difficult trying to look after my autistic son on limited sleep because of this

Room was as described, clean, tidy, location was quiet. Location was close to shopping centres, various food places, cinema, beachfront was a five minute walk. Customer service was friendly and helpful.

The location was great, but the condition of the unit was very outdated. I also did not have a good experience with other guests. I paid for two nights via Expedia but only stayed for one. I requested a refund for the second night but was told this was not an option due to the booking through Expedia and the lateness of the day. I think a gesture of goodwill should have been offered here. It was very disappointing.
