An agriturismo with ecological cattle farming and agriculture, in the midst of the Umbrian landscape, ideal for a peaceful holiday close to nature, with the possibility to sample products from the farm
In 2003 Angela and Laura, two acquainted agriculturalists, decided to purchase a farm on the outskirts of Perugia to realise their dream of an ecologically-run agricultural enterprise. The farm was extended in 2009 by purchasing further land for the sustainable cultivation of vegetables, grain and food crops. A photovoltaic system was added for generating solar energy, as well as a rainwater usage system. Since 2010 the farm has also provided holiday accommodation. The owners welcome holiday guests in the renovated and furnished farmhouse that dates back to 1896.
You can also get to know the farm animals, such as horses, donkeys, hens and cockerels, geese, sheep, goats, dogs and cats, as well as the flora and fauna of this old cultural landscape. Your four-legged friends (dogs, cats, horses etc.) are also welcome.
The agriturismo is open all year round and is easy to get to along the motorway E45. It is just 15km from the regional capital Perugia. It is also easy to get to other popular trip destinations in Umbria such as Assisi (30km), Lake Trasimeno (20km), Gubbio (60km) and Spoleto (70km).
This is a one-room apartment renovated in 2015, providing 35m² for 2-3 people. It is at ground level.
The apartment was the result of the conversion of a former barn. The wooden ceiling beams, the wooden doors and window frames, and the handmade terracotta tiles are all reminiscent of the traditional farmhouses of the region. Since the careful renovation modern comfort is combined with the charm of decorative items from the 18th and 19th centuries. A TV, an iron, free wireless Internet access and gas heating that can individually regulated are provided.
The big living room with an open layout comprises a romantic sleeping area with a double bed, bedside tables and reading lamps, a dining space with a wooden table and two chairs, as well as an old farmer’s cupboard for your clothing. The kitchen unit is equipped with a gas stove, a fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and all other utensils, crockery and cutlery. It is possible to set up a supplementary bed for a third person. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, bidet and WC.
