Very nice location in Petaluma finding the hotel was a little difficult. It does not have a big sign that says it’s the hotel. Parking is an issue, but I was lucky enough to find a spot. The room was a little small and the queen bed felt more like a full sized bed. I did book another night this coming January only because it is so convenient to walk to the Mystic theater for the show. But other than the room being small, it was a nice place.

A rustic yet clean and cozy old building in the heart of downtown Petaluma. The pros are easy walk to restaurants and shopping, clean rooms, friendly staff, Cons: limited street parking, parking garage is half a block away, strong odor from the adjacent seafood restaurant, dim bathroom and room lighting, complicated room thermostat. Overall, a very nice hotel. Highly recommend.

Loved the ambience and the staff were super friendly, helpful and warm. Great stay. Only minor challenge was parking as they don’t have any so street parking is a little tough when busy.

A fun stay!
We always enjoy our stay here. It’s a great little vintage hotel. However, the person at the front desk when we checked in was not very pleasant. They may have just been having a hard day, but it was hard to ask them any questions or get help from them without feeling like we were inconveniencing them. In any case, the people at the bar who worked for the restaurant “Shucked” were great, and the addition of Costeaux Bakery to the place is awesome!

Everything was amazing. The guy checking us in was less than friendly and kept saying our room wasn’t ready even past the check in time. Less than ideal when you have an infant but when I asked someone else, they were able to check us in with no problems! And she was so friendly and lovely to chat with

Historical building, nice outdoor seating area, in the lobby there is a nice bar and lots of seating with a fireplace. Rooms are small but clean with nice beds. No windows in both rooms we had. There was an “old” smell when you first walk in the building, you know like gramma’s house. Like the hotel tho, reasonable and nice to be able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants.
