The check in took over an hour. A line of 15 people before me only 2 front desk people. No housekeeping during your stay. They were good at keeping your luggage while you take a tour after check out.

I will start with the good. The front desk staff were great, when I arrived the room on the floor I selected but another was available allowing me to check in which great after a long travel morning. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and tasty. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Now the not so good. I was only booked in this property for two days, twice I had to return to the front desk due to my room keys not working and the electronic key on the app worked once only. The tv would freeze up and had to be either turned off and on again, the channels had to be changed just to reset the frozen image. The room was not cleaned while I was there, nor were towels replaced. I would have brought it to the staff’s attention but as I was out enjoying the city until late at night. I would consider staying there again but those issues would need to be resolved.

After I checked in I went to my room. The woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. When I got to my room opened the door I immediately notice that the room was never cleaned after the last guest when I called the front desk (spoke to the same woman who checked me in) she apologized (which she didn't need to because it was not her fault) and said that my new room was next door and that she will personally bring me the key, which she did.

Property was overbooked and we were turned down to check in. They transferred us to another hotel but it was not smooth. We had to go and find parking and were stranded for 2 hours with little kids. Will never book with Hampton Inn..

Upon arrival had to deal with a very angry nasty man at valet… walk in the hotel and have to wait on line for 40mts to check in. There literally was no blanket on the bed, just a very thin one, the hotel hallways smell like marijuana. Pillows are like flotation devices and my room was so loud all night long (from outside). Breakfast was stale bagels and they “ran out” of oatmeal. Had to wait online once again for 20 mts to eat.

Pleasantly surprised
All of the hotel staff were extremely friendly & helpful! Our check in was easy, our room was very clean, comfortable bed & pillows, nice bathroom. It was in a very convenient location & walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was good with different options. The price of the rooms were very reasonable! I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel and location is a tourist trap all of philly for that matter unsless you plan to walk to everything expensive to park i have paid less for a hotel stay with a better experience lots of tax on final bill room wasn't completely done we arrived would recommend to stay
