We were given a room that when we got to it with the key, were told by cleaning staff it was not ready. We returned to the front desk, given keys to a different room. We were in there no more than 30 min & the toilet over flowed. After calling 2 times to get maintenance help & no one came in an hr , we then begged just at least for a plunger. I then had to go down stairs again to the desk and demand a different room. The service person had just came onto his shift & was never made aware of our situation! But he nice assigned us the 3rd room! Although this was an upgrade to a suite with 2 bedrooms, which we didn’t need, it was very much filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. We were tired of dealing with the problems, were very tired and just gave up at this point!

The personnel are very nice but the redecorated rooms are a disaster for women. The darkened mirror in the bathroom is useless for applying make-up and there is no reading light! If you need to work in the evening there is a nice table but NO LIGHT. Business travelers for get it!!

Bit off the beaten path (adjacent to couple big pharma offices, so maybe mostly for corporate travel), but also right next to a train station and track (with whistling trains!). Good fit for our needs (in PA for a wedding, needed room for 6 people so suites nice).

I came into town for the weekend for my daughter’s birthday party on the 20th in north Philly but wanted something on the outside of Philly and this was the perfect place a good price for the stay it has a pool jacuzzi basketball court free buffet breakfast a lot for the price

Love it when there's free parking! Also, my picky dad loves this Homewood Suites the most out of the ones we've tried. It's tucked away, so you can actually relax in peace and quiet. The free breakfast doesn't change, but the gym has enough to keep you somewhat active. (Please add a cable machine if possible)

They were redoing the parking lots around the hotel, and the staff did a lousy job of communicating that to the guests (where to park/not park. When to move cars...)
