The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Joshua, who checked me in. My room was very spacious and I had access to everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and other amenities. I would recommend La Reserve to friends, family, and anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the area.

Very welcoming hosts, large rooms, and good cleanliness. This is an old Victorian-era house, so heat is centralized and turned up high, and you open a window to cool it down. This introduces some road noise, but it's still a fairly quiet area for being so centrally located. Breakfast is good with several options of food and drink. I had a shared bathroom but it was only shared with one other room, so availability wasn't an issue. There was no TV in my room, but plenty of outlets were available to charge devices. The location is great. Very walkable to many restaurants and attractions, with bike share and ride share also available.

Great alternative to a generic chain hotel! Room was HUGE. Fantastic location on a charming, quiet, tree-lined street where everything is just a quick walk away - would absolutely stay here again.

This is a wonderful B&B in the heart of Philadelphia. The location was perfect - easy to walk everywhere or catch the subway! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, omelettes, yogurt, etc... Sharing a meal at the family-style table made it easy to chat with the others guests, adding to the charm of the experience. Maria and Dennis were amazing, friendly, and so helpful! We will definitely returns!

Super quaint property on a quiet street south of Rittenhouse Square. The innkeeper and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. My room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. And the location is great base from which to explore Philly. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Philly stay + great weekend breakfast
Our second stay there. Very good again. It’s a really wonderful, old-time Philly home. The weekend breakfast was wonderful. During the week it’s an expanded continental. Good and fit the bill, but nothing super exciting. The staff are all really nice and helpful. Because we were there for an event with our bikes, they were extremely accommodating to find a safe place for them that also wasn’t too in the way. No tv in our room - we knew that when booking - but the wifi is very good to watch something on your own device. The next time we are in Philly we are highly likely to stay there again!!

This was a quaint historical place in a quiet area near Rittenhouse Square. We stayed in the Chatham suite, which was surprisingly large. The shower was a little on the small side, and it took a long time for the hot water to make it up to the 4th floor, but it worked, which was the important thing. The breakfast was delicious, and the hostess was super friendly. Although the suite was on the 4th floor, the number of stairs per floor was not as bad as feared, so carrying luggage up the stairs was do-able.
