From bad to great.
It started terrible. First, the hotel says there’s parking on-site. They do not have parking. Then I get to the room, the HVAC was loud and unbearable, & too cold to not turn it in. The TV wasn’t working. The kitchen faucet came loose. All the street noise is awful. But the staff kindly offered a smaller, much quieter room with a warm HVAC and a good TV. The maintenance person showed me the room, and all of them checked that I was happy. The bartenders at Cicala were so welcoming. It ended up being a great trip.

I loved the property from the time I checked in. It’s a beautiful building with aon-site options for dining. Extremely clean and charming. I loved the r&b that was playing each time that I came into the lobby area. All of the decor is modern. The moment I stepped into the suite, I was blown away by the layout from the price. The space is thoughtfully laid out with all the needs for long term stay. The one issue I did have was using the temperature controls properly on the thermostat (not saavy that was a human error not hotel), and the washing machine which i was able to figure out on my own. The only issue I had was the street noise throughout the entire night and the noise from the other room next door from guests moving throughout there space. However, they did provide a sleep mask and ear plugs on the nightstand. After putting those in I slept soundly, as it muffled out the noise. I definitely look forward to staying there again or in any other city!

The check-in process freaked me out but once the staff reassured me, I realized it’s a benefit to have such good security protocols. The apartment itself was beautiful and in a great location. Now that I understand what The Mint House is all about, I’m excited to try it out in other locations.

I really appreciated the customer service both in the evening got check in as well as check out. Very friendly and informative both instances. Our room carpet was really wet due to fresh shampoo i assume. Reservation was for double beds but given a room with only one bed so my colleague and i had to sleep together, weve been friends for 10 years so not an end all… the front desk was extra kind but there were no other rooms available we were accommodated in such a kind way. Annoying that the floor was wet it made my barefeet sticky but i washed them and wore shoes while in the bedroom. I still would recommend your hotel to stay. It was so special.

This hotel/ apartment is an absolute gem. Amenities are an understatement. It has everything you could possibly need. The staff are so helpful and This is my second stay here because I was so pleased the first time. We stay here whenever we are seeing a concert at the Met.

We were in town for a concert at the Met. The Mint is a short walk to the theatre and near several good pre theatre dining options. At check in we were upgraded to a penthouse apt with amazing views.

Spacious well appointed rooms & very helpful staff
What an amazing place to stay! My "room" had a living room, kitchen area, bedroom, bathroom, and washing machine. The arched windows and lighting added style. He reception desk was super helpful in helping me order a taxi and then given traffic, direct me on how to use the subway. The subway stop is literally across the street! I hope to come back with my husband for a longer visit.
