The property was well kept, clean, nice and friendly staff. Valet & self parking have the same rate of $25 per night. This hotel only has six (6) floors so keep in mind when booking.

We were disappointed in the tennis situation and the staff’s lack of knowledge around how the availability works. We were also very disappointed in the lack of security into the building 24/7 all side doors are open. If my husband wasn’t with me I would not have felt safe in this property. The two bright points were location so close to really nice hikes and the bed and pillows were awesome!

overall we enjoyed our stay.you are obviously understaffed especially around the pools and at the area downstairs to grab a salad etc. for lunch.the facilites are otherwise excellent. we would certainly come back.

This resort is actually outside of Scottsdale in Fountain Hills. It's a bit of a drive to Scottsdale, but I enjoyed the less busy location. Beautiful walking paths and hiking trails. The park in Fountain Hills is beautiful. Cute restaurants, etc. The hotel is not large, but had everything we needed. The workout room is one of the best I have ever seen.

The location is great. Unfortunately, this resort is suffering from what I'm seeing more and more - woefully understaffed. I stayed for two nights and never had my room serviced. I called the front desk and still nothing. Finally, I took a couple of towels from a room service cart that was in the hall. The cleanliness was okay. The door to my armoire was missing. It seems to be struggling.

The ADERO property is gorgeous. The moment we pulled up to check in the valet team was so welcoming and awesome. (You can self-park or valet for $25/day…plus tip if you valet) Check in was fine and our room was excellent on the 3rd floor. They have some lovely touches - on each floor next to elevator they have a flat and bubble water tap to encourage guests to use reusable bottles. The hotel also provides guests with reusable bottles upon arrival to room. Pool and property is beautiful. The reason I provided three stars on staff was the mid-day bar team. Breakfast team was awesome, but day team…I’m confused. It was pulling teeth to get a beverage or food at the bar counter. There were two bartenders, and it was just a weird experience. I thought one was a bar-back, but he ended up making drinks too. It felt like we were putting them out to ask for an ice tea and sprite along with our food order. They weren’t unfriendly just totally apathetic. As a high end Marriott property, I shouldn’t have to be the bubbly person to try and engage or get your attention. It was SO awkward watching their engagement with a weeding group and one-off guests. I would highly suggest the operations manager gets a copy of “Unreasonable hospitality” for their team. I am patient to a fault as I worked in service for a long time, but come on. Care a little. All of that to say, the property is beautiful and we’ll be back again for a race next year. Hopefully it was a one-off.

This was my husband and I first visiting and we absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved our room it felt like a master suite instead of a hotel room. The views were breathtaking. I looking to visiting again will definitely go in a trail and would like to try some spa treatments unable to do they’re we completely booked.

The Adero was just what we were looking for. Picturesque setting, boutique feeling hotel, well appointed, beautiful grounds, hiking, pool, great restaurant. We didn’t leave the property except for a hike. The ultimate relaxing getaway. It had pickleball and tennis too though we didn’t play. Spa as well. If you’re looking to get away from it all and relax this property is a great choice!

AMAZING VIEWS, Bartender Lorenzo (does the Cocktail movie thing spinning bottles, etc.) is so cool, all the staff from front-desk to bellmen to anyone called on phone were TOP NOTCH PROs!! They even shuttle you to FANTASTIC hiking trails down the road, no charge! Views from Bar/Dining Areas, Pools and Hot Tub were SUPERB!! Room was fantastic also!!

Ac was extremely noisey. It was so bad i had to move rooms in the middle if the night. The second room also had the issue although bit as bad. The maintenance guy said it was a known issue related to a hatch in every room and failure to change the filters. They did credit me back the resort fee but an entire night of no sleep in both rooms destroyed my trip. In addition the food was horrible so salty, and not really edible. Two separate meals

Couldn’t get served breakfast on 10/14 - blonde waitress was not kind. The experience was so weird….I ended up leaving without breakfast. If someone is sitting at a table in your restaurant - it is pretty likely they want to be served. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to say hi and ask. Especially when you are serving others who had also sat down at tables prior to opening after watching the sunrise. Everyone should have been acknowledged.…but she only greeted and served 2 of the 3 tables that were already seated. And I waited for an hour. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt because it was opening time and she was all by herself at first. No apologies….she just started making excuses for why she wouldn’t serve me but unfortunately her reasoning didn’t line up. Left a bad taste in my mouth after what was otherwise an amazing stay.
