We had a late check-in, and the guy behind the desk was somewhat uncooperative, making us wait outside the locked front lobby door for a minute or two talking with him over the phone while he figured out why we were standing there with luggage. Once he let us in, he just handed me a key card and never actually checked us in. Told me to come back in the morning, and when I did, the day shift employee said he hadn’t even put me in the system or done any thing to indicate that I had checked in at all. As far as the room goes, the door jamb was broken, so there was a makeshift anti-pry plate on our door, and there was no seal around the door, so from a certain angle inside the room I could see out into the hallway. The tub was blocked up and water wouldn’t go down. Some of the towels had faint stains on them. There were a couple of seedy guests loitering in the parking lot like homeless people and smoking weed. I asked the front desk where the ice machine was and was told it wasn’t even working. I asked for the breakfast mentioned in the listing, and was told that it hadn’t been delivered for the first day, but it was available the second day. It consisted of prepackaged muffins and Nutri-Grain bars. But there was coffee each morning, so that was a plus.
