It's a trendy hotel, so I wasn't prepared for the bartender to also be the check-in host. I had to wait for him to finish some bartending duties. It's the smallest room I've been in for a long time. There's no closet, no iron, no place really to set your suitcase on. The queen bed took up its nook with 1' on either side. Staying on a Saturday night, I heard a lot of street noise down below me vs my prior night in the Residence Inn next door. (couldn't get Resi Inn that night). At check-out, I waited several minutes for the bartender to finish serving some people before I just left the room keys on the check-out laptop.

I’d do it again..
Just an overnight trip for a show. Pros: The vibe of the building is very hip and trendy. The rooms were great with a nice bright/modern feel even though not very big. Shower was great. Cons: $45 a day for parking seemed pretty high. The pillows and blanket were very thin.

Nice but very small.
The room was rather small. It was modern and a bit avant garde for Phoenix in my opinion. It was ok but given the size of the room, I wouldn't pay more than $100 a night. This was literally a tiny little room with just enough room for a small bathroom, a chair, a bed, and a nightstand. It again is modern and interesting, but a motel room with one bed has more room than this. It's convenient if you're downtown and need to be in walking distance of the convention center, but it was again a little tiny room. I don't actually know what it cost my organization but I wouldn't have paid more than $100 a night.

Private couple appreciated privacy
We booked the room for a romantic staycation. It was very chill, didn’t see many people, nobody bothered us or gave us a hard time, very discreet & easy. I liked the low key atmosphere vibe. We were comfortable, but the room was so so small no room for even a suite case really. No fridge or ice buckets & you have to pay $25-$40 a day for parking. Splurge for the bigger suite.

From midnight until 4 am city workers outside making tons of noise. Never once when I checked in did anyone say this or maybe offer to move to other side of hotel. I ended up leaving next day and not staying in my already paid room. I heard from Moxy they said hopefully they can do better next time - no call from management for second or credit.

The hotel is beautifully designed. This was my first Moxy stay, I would say I was underprepared for the slimmed down/basic room amenities, but didn’t take that into account for my review since it’s a Moxy feature. The lobby was very social, the bar was well stocked and good prices. The staff was very friendly and the hotel hallways were quiet and clean. Unfortunately, the street below/corner light rail stop were quite loud late at night and early in the morning. The AC unit in the room worked sporadically (the room never got hot, but it was frustrating/distracting for it to shut off on and throughout the night). The price was good. I’d consider restaying if I could get a room on a side of the hotel away from the light rail.
