I had a great time. I recommend the villas for privacy and honestly price or mind. I had more time for me and my wife in the pool it was nice and romantic and not to loud. I had a great time. I just wish I had a bath tub

The hotel was an average overall experience. Nothing too wrong, but certainly nothing great. It’s clearly an older property, with rooms which could stand to be modernized.

Overall great with a couple of small issues.
The Resort staff were wonderful. The property is enormous so the golf carts were a welcome touch. The pools were very nice, especially the main pool. JD's restaurant was wonderful. The things that took it down a notch were that our room was not equipped with coffee cups or any kind of eating utensils, even though it has a kitchenette and a coffee machine. We had to request those. We also had to request a turndown service. Both were responded to promptly. The room was very spacious, however the carpet really needed to be replaced. It was pretty weathered, even a few bald spots. None of these hurt our time at all. But, these things made it more of a 4-4.5 rather than a 5

We had a wonderful stay at the Scottsdale Plaza resort, it was our very first visit to Arizona and the resort was Central to all the places that we needed to visit, The views around Scottsdale were breathtaking, and it felt very safe around the area, and there were many dining options, The room was cleaned very well every day and the sheets were changed daily, Our room had a keurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The Bellman were super helpful and giving us recommendations and suggestions on how to navigate our way around and areas to explore. The pools were very clean and the temperature was perfect for the super hot August weather, we were worried that the pools would not feel refreshing, but they were the complete opposite. There was an abundance of towels and cold water and cups around the resort. We only tried the pool restaurant on the first day that we arrived, pizza was ok, the nachos were excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again if we visited Arizona.
