This is basically a refurbished motel. The rooms are nice, the common area is fine, Wi-Fi seemed a bit spotty, and the front desk had no real answer for it. In fact, the girl at the front desk was kind of clueless and so was the maintenance guy. The area is fine I guess, but there were literally three pawn shops and several dollar stores within a few blocks, so, if that gives you any idea...

At check in, we were notified that there was a $100 damage deposit that was added to our bill and would be released at check out. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time, and it felt really excessive. When we went to our room, one of the beds had what looked like pizza grease stains on the cover, which was a little unnerving. I went down to the front desk and the gal was quick to change our room, which was nice. However, there as no apology or explanation, just new keys set on the desk. Our new room was very clean, it smelled like it had just been finished by the cleaning staff. The beds were fairly comfortable. The first night, my husband went to shower and ran the water for quite awhile and it was still running cold. I called down to the front desk and asked if there was something wrong with the water heater, and the man I spoke with confirmed that there was an issue and maintenance was working on it. Again, no apologies that it had happened or timeline of when it would be fixed. I don’t expect them to fall at my feet and give me all sorts of upgrades and perks, but a genuine apology when things go wrong can go a long way. The continental breakfast was pretty slim, with only bread and bagels for toasting, danishes, two kinds of cereals, yogurt, oranges and hard boiled eggs. I would have loved more protein and fruit options. Our room was very clean upon return that afternoon and it was mostly quiet at night. Not sure I would stay again, but it was okay.

Constant buzzing

The front desk staff was a bit curt but I've had worse. The room was ok. It was very dark and there was a terrible buzzing. It was far more noticeable at night and I couldn't tell where it was coming from. It was definitely not the refrigerator because it was louder in the bathroom even with the lights and fan off. I checked in at midnight after a long drive so I used a white noise app on my phone just to get through the night. I would not stay here again.

Nice, cute, & a great price

Cute little hotel with friendly staff upon check-in. Nice small size toiletries in the bathroom. Lot's of pillows on the bed :) Decent breakfast that had: coffee, hot coco, plain bagels, toast, instant flavored oatmeal, 2 cereals, fruit, little yogurt containers, and hardboiled eggs.
