Very good

the rooms are too small, really felt clusterphobia. I felt I was locked in a box, small bathrooms and it is very basic and certainly not worth the price paid. I would have easily gone to a B&B and got more space.
The staff were wonderful and nothing to fault them on. Just the property (rooms), the place itself has a good vibe, more nature like and chilled.
It is average, perhaps if it wasnt about the rooms, the experience would have been great.
We really enjoyed our stay.. It was perfect for one night. We would opt for one of the bigger rooms next time if we stay longer than a night. More than adequate.
Unfortunately I couldn't stand the smell in their rooms. It seemed to be smothered in a strong scent of incense. I thought it would be different in another room, but after that swapped rooms for me, it was the same in the second room. I left within an hour of arriving and incurred the cost of a second hotel for the night. The room furnishings is rudimentary at best. Basic of everything. So it ticks the boxes for what it has, but barely makes a 1 star for comfort or convenience.
Had a great stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, good food, main bar area has character and the pool area was nice to relax by. My room was simple, but just what I needed, and good value. I would come back again.
When we arrived, there was no one around to check us in. One of the groundsman kept us waiting, in hope that the receptionist would arrive. However after 5 minutes of waiting, he just provided us with the room key. We did not receive any information regarding our stay nor had any other interaction with staff.
Furthermore, while we waited to check in, another customer was waiting to be seen to as there was a muddle up with the room keys and he found a stranger in his room the previous night.
