Very Impressed!
Excellent hotel and staff for the money. Breakfast was great, room was spacious and clean. Door lock facing was broken, but owner sent someone to repair it as soon as I made him aware of the situation. Unless I'm in a cabin for a big family trip, The Walden will definitely be my hotel of choice otherwise.

We spent 3 nights .The hotel was wonderful. The staff were very friendly. The room is really clean. The indoor pool and the hot tube are amazing. Moreover, the fire place outside is so cozy.

Nice place, but very cheaply renovated. First off, my biggest complaint, the door to the patio isn’t weather sealed, and the heat vents are up on the side of the wall near the ceiling, so all the heat goes up, there’s no way to vent them down. So even with the heat on 90 for 3 days it was still so cold I froze all night long for 3 nights. You can’t get a comfortable temperature. The walls are very very thin, the shower head is so high on the ceiling it takes forever to shower bc by time it gets to you it’s a trickle. Extremely small tub/shower but bathroom area was decent. The sliding barn door to the bathroom was very cheesy. No smooth glide. Very wonky didn’t stay in place. Very poor lighting in the room overall. Tv channels were disappointing there were like 8-10 channels. For a revamped hotel, they really put a bandaid on it.

They have the best air conditioning system. It's not a window unit. It built in with duct work in the ceiling. Much quieter.

We were pleased with our stay here. Staff was friendly & accommodating. The pool stays open until really late which was nice so that we could relax after shopping all day. Room was clean, very spacious, & updated. The properties behind the hotel were less than desirable to see off of our balcony but that can’t necessarily be easily fixed. Location was good otherwise. Plenty of parking available & included breakfast was just okay.
