It was very close to a lot of the events and it seemed easy to get to even though traffic was busy. The staff were very friendly. My shower curtain fell and they took care of it right away. The only suggestion I could make is please make sure your staff knows whether stores are open on Sunday or not. I drove all the way to Gatlinburg to go to Alewine Pottery. I was told the shops would be open .More than 1/2 were closed. Overall, I enjoyed my trip.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is old. The carpet is dirty and the smell is horrible. We check up one day early because my poor son was with allergic due the smell of the rugs. Not only in the room the entire hotel.
We had an okay experience. The room was clean as far as we could see but the room had an odor as soon as we walked in. The AC wasn’t on so we assumed it was because of that. When. We turned the AC on it proceeded to have brown clumps of what looked like mold or mildew come out of it and was all over our bed.
We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was great every morning. Very quiet place. The only thing we didn't like was all the carpet should be shampooed or replaced. My socks were black the first night. Other then that its 5 star for us
The room we had reserved a king suite, was not a suite. We upgraded to the better room and it certainly wasn't better. went to the front desk and asked for a different room and was given a double with two queen size bed. they charged us $66. for doing this.the room was alright but wasn't worth the price they charged us for a week. Way overpriced and not what we wanted. NO refunds after 10 minutes. We left a day early.

Good stay
Older hotel, but clean. Very slow elevator, only one. Breakfast very congested. Didn’t get to eat, no room to eat and very busy. Not a horrible stay but most likely won’t stay again mainly because of small breakfast area.

It was clean and quite, the cleaning staff was very attentive and asked us daily if we needed anything. The free breakfast was decent the lady serving it wasn't very pleasant. She yelled at my husband while he was making a waffle then proceed to stand and watch him make it that left him not wanting to eat there in the morning. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.
We were going to a show at the TN Theater in Knoxville and wanted a place to stay overnight. Im a cheapy so I booked because of the price. They staff were very pleasant and quickly resolved the issue with the key cards. The location is wonderful if you venture into the money pit that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg has become. The room was very clean and although it didnt have the best of views, wonderworks was right across the road with our view. I would stay here again and suggest others without kids just wanting a cheap basic room to stay. I say without kids because the I will want one of the 200+ a night places with indoor water parks.
