They put us on the third floor a long ways from the elevator. When there was clearly plenty of rooms close to the elevator and even on the first and second floor. Appeared to be some longtime guest staying there as well. The room was nice and very clean. It had been remodeled. The free breakfast was the best thing about our stay. It was wonderful.

I killed a small bug within minutes of arriving. Then, on our 2nd morning there, we woke up to a roach in the bathroom. I’m 44 years old and have stayed in a lot of hotels through the years, and I’ve never wanted to leave a place so bad. Unfortunately, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge was packed out, and we couldn’t find another hotel for our 2 night stay.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location is a bit of a gamble for light sleepers. A/C in sofa bed area was inoperable and couldn't be set below 86Degrees. Very expensive for what it is. But, all hotels are way beyond affordable at this point.
