For what I expected during check in with the lobby and front desk staff, I was highly disappointed in the stay. Our room was plain and outdated. Our shower head leaked the entire time and had mold growing in the tub area. The fridge was so loud and noisy. Breakfast was absolutely packed, I couldn’t eat anything as I have a black pepper allergy and the eggs and other “hot foods” were caked in black pepper. Staff members advised me to eat something else….the cereal bowls were never available and the waffle makers were either packed with other guests or out of batter/not working. We didn’t even try breakfast the rest of our stay and just spent money elsewhere on good food. The pool/hot tub is 24 hours and there was always people crowding both no matter the time. We stopped at the bar for a drink, got two mixed drinks for $32 AND THEN were told it was cash only as the credit card machine was broken and if we needed cash the ATM around the corner was available ($3 fee). Luckily we had cash on us but feel like this should have been announced upon us sitting down as the bar was not busy at all, we were also overcharged for drinks in our opinion. Plant on walking a lot too! There’s only one set of elevators to get you to the floors as there are no doors with accessible stairs from the other entrances. The front desk told me to reach out to Expedia as we booked through a third party instead of even offering to solve our issues. Will not stay here again!! So much wasted money.

The rooms are in need of some major TLC. The TV’s are not smart tv’s. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. Best thing about the room. Daily breakfast was pretty good.

The walls in our room showed water marks something that had leaked at sometime and peeling away of wall paper. Fire alarm went off at 1:00A.M. Scared my kids and me. No idea what was going on. Ran out the exit. Fire trucks and police arrived. Hotel representative said false alarm. I was too scared to stay. I packed up and checked out. I told hotel clerk we were scared and leaving. She just said, ok. Hit some buttons and said I could go here’s a coupon for your next visit. Got home and my daughter’s stuffed animal was left behind. I called and they sent me to a website to claim the stuffed animal. The cost was $48-$68!!!!!!! The pig was sentimental and only worth $25. I asked them to help me. They said sorry it’s in that system and nothing they can do. So I said well that stinks…we will just have to abandon it. My daughter has cried herself to sleep!!! Thanks Ramsey hotel for ruining my daughter’s night and a ruff morning of being scared to death thinking a fire was taking place. So disappointed!! Being in customer service business, I would have handled the stuffed animal situation better. If you really wanted to provide a great experience, there is always a way to make it happened even if you have to go above and beyond your duty. That is what makes life great… coming together for one another and not just doing what a policy says to do. Going above and beyond is what makes people and businesses stand out. :( disappointing
