Book a stay at our wonderful and unique cabin that goes way back to the 1900's when the Wandcrest Community was founded by the original owners. We have wonderful mountain and valley views and tons of wildlife (especially deer, singing birds, and chipmunks!). Our community is incredibly inclusive and open to guests that are searching for a relaxing, and serene getaway for a couple of days!
Very quiet, heartwarming, and inclusive community. It is a one-of-a-kind property that wouldn't leave anybody indifferent. A collection of unique, vintage knick-knacks from the 19th and 20th centuries: an original telephone built back in the 1900's, 1940's Jukebox, Christmas ornaments and cabin decorations from the late 20th century, and a set of eternal classics of literature including 'The Scarlet Letter', and 'Robinson Crusoe'. The blue range cabin holds a deep and family-friendly history back from 1875. Among a multi-cultural community forged by Italian, German, French, and English pioneers, our property inherited its warm, and nostalgic spirit of the past. Our property is incredibly warm and cozy!
Per your visit, you will have a comfy living room with television, a wooden kitchen, a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a bathroom with a traditional-style cast iron tub all to yourself. Outdoors, you are welcome to grill your own BBQ, take a walk, observe the wildlife, and hike the surroundings! The Wandcrest community is incredibly serene, calm, and friendly to all. One of our unique features is the multiculturality of our neighbors, and the history of Park county.
The intersection at the entrance of Wandcrest is a great social spot to get to know the area. The property features 2 parking spaces, one on the upper level, and another on the lower level, next to the cabin. Both parking spaces are available to guests at all times, due to the dirt road leading to the cabin, some guests may or may not prefer to park easier. Per owner's request, a 3rd parking space may be available. Visit us, and dive deep into the American Dream!
*Important Information*
*The last road section and driveway to the cabin is quite difficult for our guests to conquer so we highly recommend you have a 4WD vehicle on hand especially in the winter season to ensure that you not get stuck on our driveway and make it safely up to the cabin*
*Weather Tips*
Colorado has been progressively getting drier; generally we don't have our biggest snowstorms until late winter and spring (March/April). Most of the snow that falls before and after then melts within a day or two. At times snow has helped our guests get up the dirt road as it provided cushion for the holes in the road. Please consider this when booking.
