The kitchen is very well-equipped with nice, new appliances, and Darlene was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
The property is conveniently located near Leland Snowplay, though you need to purchase tickets to enter their area ($57 per adult). On the first day, we opted to play in the snow around the building since it was already 3 PM. However, there was a lot of dog poop around, so we played with a small patch of snow in front of the building. At one point, Leland Snowplay employees asked us to move and play behind the building. On the second day, we spent some time at Leland Snowplay, but it was very crowded. We spent 30 min for tubing.
One concern we had was that the house wasn't ideal for our very active toddler, as the stairs were a safety risk. Additionally, there are no restaurants or markets nearby. If you plan to stay, I’d recommend stocking up at Safeway in Sonora before you arrive. Also, be prepared to use the fireplace—it's a great feature, but you'll need to manage it during your stay for warmth. There were only small heaters for a big house.
