Year round vacation location - Enjoy great water sports, fishing and more!

Epic California snow is melting giving way to burgeoning streams, lakes and dams around this area. Great for fishing and other water sports!!! Come stay with us and enjoy this unusual summer!

Stay at this quiet and cozy mountain getaway with your family and friends at Leland Meadow. Explore the great outdoors, go Tubing at Leland Snow park, ski at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, fish or swim in Leland lake right next to the condo, close to Pinecrest lake and Beardsley lake with all water activities but without the crowd and bustle, hike the Stanislaus National Forest, explore the beautiful tri dam area and natural formations like Column of the Giants, visit beautiful Sonora pass, all within few miles of this home. This could be your hub for many day trip options like Yosemite National Park, New Melones lake, Casino's and more. At the end of the day relax at this 3 bedroom 2 bath with a full kitchen and a cozy fireplace.
This home has a gas barbeque on the front deck for summer barbequing and fireplace for cold winter evenings. There is a Keurig coffee make in the kitchen. There is also a washer / dryer on the lower floor. Bunk beds for kids to enjoy, 2 TVs and a DVD player.
There is no trash collection service in the mountains and guests will need to take their trash with them. There is a local dump on Hwy 108 where trash can be turned in for a small fee.
As the condo is at an elevation of 6300 ft, it gets a good amount of snow in winter. During snow storms power outages do occour and guests may experience it during their stay. There are flashlights, candles and some spare batteries for use and also wood for the fireplace. The fireplace in the middle level does a good job of warming the top 2 levels, more than it does the lower level.
Guests may also need to shovel snow to get in and out as snow storms can happen anytime and can be continous at times dumping a lot of snow.
Snow is plowed in the front and rear access roads but it can take time for the crew to get to it. In general, the rear access tends to get more icy than the front, especially overnight, but, the situation can be dynamic and guests should assess for themselves to make a prudent choice. Driving or walking on icy roads can be tricky. It is a good idea to carry ice traction slip ons for your shoes.

After heavy snow fall, the front access metal stairs can get fully covered with snow.
There are snow shovels in the front and back of the house.

Amazing place
My family and I had the pleasure of spending our last week of summer here with our kids! The host was very responsive to any need or question we had and made the whole stay smooth! The house was great with a lake view and everything you could need! We definitely will be back!

Birthday celebration
My adult son was born the day before my birthday. We try to celebrate together. We chose this condo thinking there was a lane as it says lake views. In July, it is a swampy pond. The condo is older with older furnishings. The 3rd bedroom is a loft that was too hot to use. 2 weeks after leaving the owner is trying to charge us for something g that was broken when we arrived. You have to pay $25.00 / day to be able to use cell phone to text. “There is a landline for emergencies”. Will never recommend this place to anyone

No water for first day of trip
We had a good time, but....NO Water in the unit for a day. The morning of the trip we were notified that there was a water problem, and we were offered rescheduling We were already packed... my daughter has to pick her vacation days once a year, so changing our schedule was unavailable, so we threw in some water and proceeded. The water was off until the next morning, so there were dirty dishes in our sink, and no showers, and inability to flush toilets until the water service resumed the second day of our trip. The neighbors said that the water problem was common. So even rescheduling, the water issue could arise again. I asked for a partial refund of $100, the manager refused, but offered $40 He says he put $40 cash in an envelope addressed to me ( Cash ????) and it has not arrived after 9 days.

An amazing getaway in the wilderness!
We rented the condo for six of us and had an excellent experience, we look forward to returning soon! My rating is based on host interactions, amenities, space layout, views, attention to details, surroundings and overall experience. INTERACTIONS: Host is excellent and was prompt in communication, provided us with detailed instructions including ideal place to park the car, nearby food options, places to visit as well as voice/data connectivity among other items. SPACE: Condo has 3 levels. Six of us had plenty of space across 3 beds (2 queen size bunk beds, and 1 regular king size bed). 1st level and 3rd level have sleeping space and 2nd level acts as a gathering place along with the kitchen. Having two bathrooms, one on each floor, made getting ready a breeze. Having two entrances gave us flexibility to unload the car from the back without needing any steps. All levels have excellent views of nearby lake and surrounding mountains. 2nd level has two balconies, one on each side that we enjoyed very much! ATTENTION TO DETAILS: The area is out of cell range so the host has installed a satellite connection for both voice and data. Kitchen is fully stocked including spices, coffee and other essentials. The personal touch host provided made it a special experience. SNOWPARK: Leland Meadows Snowplay is just a 2 min walk away. After a hard day playing in the snow park it is a perfect location to unwind and relax. SKIING: Dodge Ridge is only a few minutes drive from the condo

Fully equipped nice condo, great location
Nice, cozy fully equipped condo right next to Leland Snowplay inner tube park. Beautiful views, quiet location. Easy drive from Bay Area. Condo has every amenity you could ask for, both kids and adults loved it. We traveled during a heavy snow storm, and the owner gave us several updates before we left home regarding local weather, road conditions, and safety equipment to bring, to make sure our travel and stay was safe. Read all the details on the website under "About this rental" regarding snow if you are going in winter. Overall a great experience, will be back again.

Very close to Leland Snowplay!!!
The unit was primarily a place to sleep.. the main purpose for us was to play in the snow. Nothing super fancy in the unit. A lot of outdated decor, furniture and appliances, but still had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Satellite tv went in and out, but mostly out. There was a dvd & VHS player. That was pretty cool and nostalgic. I had trouble getting into the property since Raj gave me the wrong code to the lockbox. This was rough since there isn’t phone service to be able to reach him easily. Had to drive back down the hill, wait for service, and try to communicate that way until he gave me the proper code. Then drive back up the hill to the property, etc. Took about an hour from when I arrived until I got inside the unit while having a cranky baby with me. I think the roughest part of the trip was when it snowed and I had to get out of the back parking lot. My SUV with snow tires kept slipping!! I wish I had chains on me… so for anyone coming during the winter, please bring chains as back up. Parking is on a VERY steep hill. Raj was very accommodating when I thought I was going to get snowed in, when I couldn’t get my car down the hill on the day of check out. He gave me info on the whether and tips of when a good time might be to leave, when there was a break in the snow. But also told me that if I was uncomfortable leaving or if I got snowed in and my car got stuck, it would be totally OK for me to stay another day.

Great location but poor housekeeping
This was our second year visiting this condo and while we absolutely loved the experience last year, this winter was a completely different story. I’ll try to summarize as follows: Pros: location with very close proximity to Leland Snowplay, multiple bedding configuration and option to pay for Wi-Fi Cons: #1 - this condo has two entrances to it. The back one is on a steep, not fully ploughed, very icy road and it was conveyed by the host ahead of time. The front entrance requires you to walk up two flight of steep stairs but to our utter disappointment, they were not shoveled and we had to spend hours shoveling over a feet of snow and ice from them in order to safely access the condo. Keep in mind that this was not due to any fresh snow that fell during our stay. This is totally unacceptable as it made the condo inaccessible from both entrances. #2 - the balcony for this condo had SIX feet of snow in it where as all other neighboring condo units had their balconies cleaned and shoveled. We could not even step out on the balcony let alone use it this year. #3 - extremely unreliable Wi-Fi. Even though we paid extra $25 to get internet access, the network would go down randomly for hours at a time and we had no way to reach to the host to communicate. #4 - the host told us ahead of time that there is no trash pickup at this condo and that it would cost us $25 if we leave trash at the condo. Since we spent hours clearing snow and ice from the entrances, we didn’t have enough time left to pack up all the trash and take it with us. We only left the trash in trash cans in the condo but the host charged us $250 for “leaving trash”. This is despite prior communication of $25 trash pickup charge. #5 - generally low level of maintenance by housekeeping. The bathrooms had all run out of hand soaps and the kitchen had no paper towels. This was not like our prior experience.

Convenient Location
We selected this property as it is super close to Leland Snowpark. We were able to enjoy a day of snow play and easier went to and from the property. If you need/want Wifi make sure to arrange beforehand as you won't have service in the property so no way to communicate with the owner at the property itself. Parking is on a very steep and narrow hill. Property was dusty and bring your own towels.

Lovely lake in the mountains
We stayed two nights to be with other family members camping at Pinecrest Lake. The cabin is located in a quiet and pretty setting. The neighbor was helpful, the view is great and proximity to Pinecrest is a big plus. We’ll return!

Location is nice. There is little lake near building. No internet this area. We had to pay $27/stay for wifi. Wifi was very weak. Hot water was really limited. If one person takes shower, others have to wait quite long. Even half of bathtub couldn’t be filled with hot water.

Nice location
This condo is conviniently located right accross the street from the Leland snowplay area with tubes. It's close to the Dodge Ridge resort. We had a couple of issues, and I would suggest to have information that you need to pay extra $27 if you want to use wi-fi. It mentions that there is no trash collection service in the community, but it doesn't say that the nearest local dump is closed on Sundays (maybe Saturdays as well), and that you need to make sure you have $10 cash, otherwise you will need to drive further to dump your trash...ugh ...it was quite a quest

Great stay, walking distance to Leland
Loved our stay here. Very nicely maintained unit with plenty of beds and kitchen items for a large group. Loved being walking distance to Leland snowplay. The place also has WiFi (additional charge) and cell phone network booster which is a rarity in this area. The hosts were very good at communicating and made our stay very comfortable. Would be back here soon!

Comfortable, well-stocked condo right next to snow tubing!
The condo is well-equipped with games, kitchen gear, and snow toys to make your stay in the mountains of the central Sierra comfortable and fun. The host is quick to respond to questions and was very welcoming. My 8 year-old loved being walking distance from the snow tubing park, Leland Snowplay. We will definitely be back!

Family trip
Great location for snow play, which was the goal for our trip. I thought the beds were comfortable. I think the main issue we ran into being a family of 8 was the living room is quite small, and there wasn’t enough seating for us all with one small couch and a chair. Otherwise, cabin had most things we needed and we enjoyed our time and the ease of being close to the tubing hill.

A cozy vacation home
Raj's place is amazing. Cabin is tidy and well-prepared. You can expect pretty much everything that makes up a "home". We were planning to visit the Stanislaus NF. But right before the trip, the NF is closed due to wild fires. We spend three days just enjoying the little lake, the paddle boards, the tennis, the clubhouse with so much fun. The neighbors are also helpful and trustworthy. They helped us with beach events and showed us around their small community. Some people may complain as there is no WIFI. But who needs WIFI when you have everything above?
