“Absolutely enchanting!” - Alissa T.
This historic estate, built in 1917 and faithfully refreshed in 2021, is less than a mile to the famous Pinehurst Resort and an easy walk into the Village, yet it’s completely tucked away on a 1+ acre secluded lot. The home’s original 3-bedroom structure opens out to a stunning property with 2 additional tiny homes - and a crown jewel of a pool!
***Pool is open and heated to 83 degrees from March 15-November 30 every year. Integrated inground large capacity Hot tub is open and heated to 102 degrees year round 5pm-10pm.***
“It was the idyllic setting for our perfect vacation. The golf players were out early...the afternoons we spent lounging around the beautiful pool...then in the evenings we walked to dinner...The hot tub was perfect in the evenings before we broke out the cards. Having the separate little houses ensured privacy and quiet when those in the main house played late night poker games. We really hope to return!” – Nancy C.
LIVING SPACES
There’s plenty of living space for everyone to stretch out at this luxurious estate. In the main house, Arcadia Cottage, relax on the classic front porch, or in the original open plan living room. The main home also boasts a 3-season screened-in porch that’s perfect for game night or a lazy rainy afternoon – insect free!
You’ll also find ample space in the charming Shake Cottage and the classic Stone Pool House. Lofted ceilings and reclaimed stained glass combine with vintage finds that have been salvaged to create the most unique kitchens you’ve ever experienced.
The cured beams are rafters from an old tobacco barn, forever imbued with the sweet, earthy scent of tobacco hanging to dry. The aroma, along with the hand-crafted stonework, evokes all the charm and history of the area. Enjoy a glass of wine in the Cottage living room and appreciate the detail of the turn-of-the century stone details, or enjoy opening the french doors to have morning coffee al fresco in the Pool House.
“Both of these tiny homes will be some of the most unique spaces you've ever had the pleasure of staying in.” – Beata L.
