This is a very nice and highly affordable option for the Valley Forge/Washington Crossing/New Hope/Lambertville set of tourist destinations. The staff was very friendly and the onsite restaurant and bar were both outstanding! I really appreciated that the inn still allows cancellations/refunds up to 48 hours in advance, as we were not definite we could take the time away from home. One drawback was that the bedroom window needed a light-blocking pulldown shade, as the curtains could not be drawn closed at night without blocking flow from the window A/C unit. This was an issue in June- would not matter during other seasons. Very nice overall experience!

Quaint, clean property. Our room was not real private. Lots of noisy people walking past the room. No elevators. Stairs was hard to negotiate. Shower handle did not work well.

Suite was clean and spacious. King size bed, large flat screen TV, sitting area with sofa, large bathroom with vanity and bathtub with shower. Large parking lot. Restaurant downstairs is excellent.

I did like the restaurant and the staff was friendly. I did not like the means to get to the rooms. If you are older or have back or leg issues, you have to climb steep staircases with your luggage and go through a maze of doors to get to the rooms. Not fun. Please build an elevator.

Mixed thoughts......
The housekeeping was not really available. We missed her when she came at 4:00 in the afternoon. We were on the third floor so it was a hike to the room, no elevator. But in saying that the owner was right there to bring our suitcases up if we so desired. The restaurant was convience and good. It is on a busy street and the house has the good and bad of a 18 century home. The staff made up for anything that you could have been displeased about. Everyone was super nice from the person at the desk, to the bartender (we sat at the bar one night) to the wait staff. We hit one waitress who was a little prickly which was surprising. There is also a nice porch available that we sat out on before dinner, enjoying a bottle of wine with our friends and watching the traffic. There is also a nice ice cream place right in the parking lot. A nice bonus too was coupons for breakfast. The breakfast place is walking distance. The breakfast was excellent! So many choices and Rachel was great. We also used the coupon for a 1/2 off tasting at Sand Castle Winery. Mark really needs a vacation that man is EVERYWHERE, all the day and all night. Does this place have quirks, yes! Is it worth going to again? Yes.

We had a short stay, one night in two double rooms. Very pleasant stay.The rooms were clean. One bed was more comfortable than the other. As other reviewers shared we could hear music from the room but realized it was music from the courtyard. We shared thisnwitht hr staff around 10:30 PM and they turned the music off. We would stay again.

Stayed in the old 1751 part of the inn. The room was lovely with a canopy bed. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended!
