The service at the front desk is a little slow because most times there’s only 1 person there. They are always very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Some of the rooms have a little walk to get to. The breakfast is good and so is the coffee. There’s also a nice gym.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious. The hotel is clean and nice. The rooms just need closets or a place to hang clothing. The only downside.

Great stay
Great downtown location. Room was spatulas and very comfortable. It had some gym equipment like a yoga mat. Gym was decent. The hotel is a bit weird in that it occupies the 5/6 floor of a building but other than that it was good. Breakfast was reasonably priced. Hotel was close to sport venues and some restaurants with a brief walk. Not great for nightlife from what we saw.

Great hotel but not so pet friendly
EVEN Hotel is very nice. Clean, quiet, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. However, though it is listed as "pet friendly" it really isn't. This hotel is on the 5th floor of the former Kaufman's building, (I believe it was Kaufman's), which was a little disconcerting at first. As I said, the hotel itself is only the 5th floor so it feels a little bit hidden. Pay attention to the signage when you first arrive because there is nobody there to welcome you until the elevator opens on the 5th floor. Anyway, taking the dog outside in downtown Pittsburgh where there is no green space unless you walk a few blocks is rough. Our pup needs some greenery to complete his "tasks" and that would have meant walking him downtown at night. Lest readers think this is a reflection on the hotel itself, it isn't. It's actually quite nice. It's just not a set up well for pets.
