Came to town for the Steelers Alumni Dinner and game. Room was nice. Did feel sorry for the front desk girl as we were checking in. She was dealing with a customer on the phone regarding a non-working tv. She handled the call very well but the customer wasn’t listening to her and she told that customer she needed to check people in at the front desk to no avail. She kept apologizing to me and I told her it wasn’t her fault. She maintained her composure at all times and was professional in handling the complaint. Everything was good and I had a positive experience.

As a female. the setting was not well lit and it occurred dark and scary, upon entering the hotel, it did not smell fresh, and I checked in to find Room 407 extremely dirty, the white bed covers were dirty. I went back to the from desk and was assigned another room and did not find it to be much better. I requested to have my money refunded for the inconvenience. I have been to many Hamptons Inn love staying at them & reasons why I picked this 1 & I have to say very outdated, bathroom had rust all over the shower & baseboard. Water flowed everywhere after a shower & I never gotten room service because we were either asleep in the A.M or they had left by 11

TV didn't work properly, only got about 5 channels. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, hard as a rock. Lobby and breakfast area dirty. Furniture in lobby is worn and stained and nasty. This hotel needs an upgrade. On a positive note, parking was free and ample spaces. Free breakfast, although options were limited, but it was sufficient, not bad. Shower and bathtub was clean and water pressure was good and hot. Linen was clean and we got fresh towels every other day. Location is not bad, although nothing within walking distance, but only five minutes from highway and 20 minutes to airport and 15 minutes from downtown. Not a horrible experience by any means, but could be much better with a little upgrading.

The rooms had the air conditioner on high. It was so cold when we got the room. My husband used the sink and the water remained in the sink. I called the front desk for assistance however the clerk said they did not have anyone in maintenance there. That we would have to wait till Sunday morning. I asked the clerk for a plunger and my husband managed to get the water to go down. My bathtub had long hairs on the tile. I wasn’t happy with my room but the hotel was booked.

A little disappointing
We stayed at this same property in June, and it was fine, but when we went back in Sept, our room was in poor shape. I guess it just depends which rib you get when you go there. The toilet wouldn't flush when we first arrived, so we had to plunge it because they didn't know how, all hard surfaces in the bedroom were dusty, the mirror was extremely smudged, there was food on the shelf in the bathroom under the sink, hair on the floor, hair in the beds, and the bathtub coating was mostly peeled off. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. The TV only got about 4 channels. The pillows are usually extra comfy, but we feel that the ones in our room were old and worn out. The one good thing I'll say is that the breakfast was very good.
