Before last weekend we had stayed at this hotel once last year… The last time we were there we were on a higher floor and had a really nice mostly updated room… This time we stayed on the 12th floor in our room was in much need of an update!!! Still can’t beat the location or the price… So I would still recommend staying here!! We love Pittsburgh!

The room had an odor, that could not be found upon inspection, and it looked as though the cleaning staff only half cleaned the bathroom, the sink had signs of residue and the toilet had what looked like blood towards the back of the seat. there was also visible dust, not in common areas, but still present. It wasn't terrible but I dont believe I will go back.

Great trip!
Awesome as always! Great proximity to events. Fun pool. Outstanding staff. Will definitely return. Used the Starbucks in lobby this trip. Thise employees were very rude and condescending. Spoke to front desk and issues were dealt with promptly.

Felt a bit mislead by an offered eStandby add-on. Was offered early noon check-in for and additional $30. It was made clear that the add-on availability would be determined at check-in. Arrived at the hotel at 12:45pm and asked if early check-in was available. The check-in person said yes, however because it was a "busy day" the rate was actually $50. That seemed a bit shady to up the price by $20 because they could always say "it's a busy day". I also understand that check-in was early but going to our room there as dirty bedding everywhere outside rooms. Felt like we were avoiding "bedding mines" all the way down the hall to our room. Other than those two things the hotel was good and convenient to get to PNC Park

The night manager, I believe her name is Dericka, was absolutely amazing. She was accommodating, personable and knowledgeable of events in the area. She even listened to me complain about my day and offered encouraging words! Her kindest will never be forgotten. See ya next Labor Day weekend!!

The property was clean and safe. The staff was helpful and courteous. The parking situation however was a nightmare. They offer valet parking but it took over 30 minutes waiting in a huge line of people waiting in their cars for valet service. It actually caused a traffic jam around the hotel. I don't think we would use it again.

The room smelled like mildew. Hotel in general could benefit from a remodel/ upgrades. I called the hotel the day of arrival to see if they offered early check in. The staff member was very nice and said they would offer early check in on that particular day. It was first come first serve. Upon arrival I was told it was a $50 additional fee to check in early. This was on top of the $300 nightly fee and $43 mandatory valet parking.
