The FairBridge is a modest hotel that is a solid value for the price, especially in the Berkshires while the BSO is at Tanglewood, which is why we were there. When we arrived, the room and refrigerator were warm, but the A/C was easy to start, and it was a simple matter to plug in the refrigerator. The bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished, and the linens and towels were clean. For another $50 to $100/night, we could have stayed in a standard chain hotel, but this way, we got to spend that money on dinner instead. The FairBridge Inn is certainly satisfactory for the budget traveler.
