This Marriott property is tucked away off a main Placentia street in an office plaza. But it has all the amenities you expect, and despite being RIGHT next to CA SR-57, the rooms are well-insulated and quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but one does have to wonder why you have to be a Bonvoy Rewards member just to have free wi-fi.

What a dirty place. unclean and old. Staff was underwhelming and rude. Do not book through 3rd party sites if you want to be treated as anything but a 2nd class citizen. They treat people that book through 3rd party sites less than.

We arrived at 8 PM for our check-in, which should’ve been ready at 4 PM. At that point we were told no rooms were ready, and had to wait outside with our family of six for two hours. They mentioned that the people that stayed in the room prior to us had a late check out and didn’t leave until four, and they hadn’t cleaned the room yet.
