We found this lovely place via Tripadvisor and have not been disappointed!
The coast, the mountains, many villages and cities are just around the corner but this place has the peace and quiet of a world of its own.
The location is located in a cul-de-sac so it is very quiet. The garden (or gardenS, since there are many different areas / levels) is wonderful. Everywhere you stumble upon some chairs / deck chairs to rest, beautiful flowers, cats and even a turtle!
The rooms and shared rooms are lovely decorated, very individual and with hand-picked details.
The pool and the jacuzzi are great, there's an honesty bar in the main room and even a public fridge and grill to prepare your meals if you like.
Our room had a very good bed (vey good mattress), was lovely furnished and included a coffee maker. The WiFi signal was very good everywhere. No TV but this was ok for us.
Since the ensuite bathroom has no door, you should only share this room with someone you know very well.
Please note that there are 2 dogs and plenty of cats so if you are allergic or afraid of animals this needs to be known. All animals behaved very well though.
The breakfast was served either in the kitchen or in the garden (according to weather conditions) and was delicious! Fresh fruit, homemade jams, a selection of breads and your choice of croissant or pain de chocolat, good coffee and juice.
Cecile is a great host, taking care of everything and suggesting everything you might need.
