I enjoyed my first week at the Quality Inn. I like the breakfast, it is close to shopping and great restaurants. I will be working in Plattsburgh off and on and will make the QI my place to stay when in town.

First impression: there was a disagreeable odor to the hallway. Kind of like cleaning chemicals and mold smell. Then after carrying in our belongings we found that the door to our room did not lock. We were told by the front desk staff that there were no other rooms to move to and he instructed us on pulling up the door to get it to align. It finally did and we were able to lock the door behind us, but we certainly felt less than secure. The furniture in the room was cheaply made. On a positive note the price was very good.

Outside entrances should be card entry. Our door dead bolt did not lock. Lighting to find entrance super poor. Other then these concerns we will visit again

Short stay for a night
The entrance and the hallway had a strong smoking odour even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking zone. The washroom bathtub had a leaking faucet unfortunately. We only had a night stay there. The breakfast was good. But cleanliness wise expected a bit more given the price.
