Magical PENTHOUSE, truly a hidden gem! Private beach, gym, spa and restaurants!

This penthouse is by far one of the most beautiful in the whole city. It is in a prime location called MAREAZUL inside the CORASOL complex surrounded by jungle trees and a beautiful private beach. Its location is the perfect mix because is just a 5-7 minutes in a taxi or driving from the action but away from the crowded and noisy downtown, you will not want to leave the place.
It also has a jacuzzi on its rooftop with an amazing sea view and jungle view

In case you don't have a car, taxis are available inside the complex any time you would like them. You just need to ask any guard or receptionist and it will appear on your doorstep at the desired time.


The building is only less than 300 feet from the beach!
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a big beautiful terrace with a rooftop that has a jacuzzi.
Walking distance from the apartment you can use the tennis courts, gym, and beach club available at no cost, we also have a SPA and a super nice golf course inside Corasol

Probably the biggest pool and gardens you will ever see in the Riviera Maya. Also, the other apartments are far so it's such a good place to find peace and privacy.

It is managed directly by the owners so anything you could need is easy to arrange.

We have an alliance with a private chef if you ever want Michelin-star cuisine in the apartment.

This is truly a gem in Playa del Carmen you will never want to go back!

Beautiful Facility, condo is in rough shape
Loved the pool, restaurants, ocean, views... The condo needs to be upgraded. They need to be running dehumidifiers to remove the smells. The roof hot tub is in poor condition.

Great resort, worn out condo
The resort was great, located on a great safe and low key beach. The pool was crazy big and nice. It offered quick access to Playa for supplies and meals. The condo on the other hand appears to poorly maintained. You can tell it was nice at one point but in very poor condition now. Everything seem to have mildew grime. The doors, closets have a lot of damage. The dishwasher handle was broken. The AC works good. The master bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me but my wife said it was tolerable. The sectional is uncomfortable and sinks in many areas. It desperately needs to be replaced. The condo didn't come with many of the standard supplies like dishwasher soap, rags and dish towels. The master showerhead was about 75% blocked by hardwater build up is most of the spray hole. We had to clean it to get a barely useable spray. The master shower had a terrible smell coming from the drain pipe. The storage area was very cluttered with no organization or shelves. Everything was just thrown everywhere including into a bathroom and shower area that prevented it from being used. The instructions we were provided told us to park in the apartment's dedicated space or any space if that was occupied. Well it was occupied by the owner's car tye entire time we were there so we took another random spot. Imagine our surprise when security came knocking on the door yelling at us to move our car. Security ultimately found a space we could use. We definitely will NOT stay here again.

Great Property For A Quiet Vacation
Overall I would recommend staying at this property. The host was very easy to work with and responded to everything promptly. Getting into the property was easy and just as host described. The property is nice with a nice pool and beach. One benefit of this property is it was very quiet. Most resorts have loud music playing all the time, so it was nice to stay somewhere quiet. Overall the condo was clean. I would have given 5 stars across the board, but there were a couple issues. The laundry room was a mess with a bunch of musty blankets and things in it. The 3rd bathroom was not useable because it was in the back of the laundry room and had a bunch of cleaning stuff and supplies in the shower and in front of the toilet and there were a few deferred maintenance items. The location was good because it was quiet, but if you want to be close to Playa Del Carmen restaurants, it wasn't ideal because the taxi's are expensive down there. Overall, I would recommend the property. It was a nice resort style condo complex and the items I had small issues with can be remedied by the host pretty easily.

Beautiful resort
Beautiful grounds, two restaurants on site. Great food. Security guards on site. Two check points to get into the complex. The pool is amazing and huge. Ocean was beautiful and so as the white powdery sand. Beach chairs & umbrellas always available. I would recommend renting a car since taxis are pricey to go to town, around $24.00usd each way. Condo is beautiful, so as the views from the balcony. Nice appliances but lacked cleanliness. Most of the appliances had a sticky film on it due to grease and not being properly cleaned. The master bedroom sheets were all stained (maybe chlorine on blue sheets). They could definitely replace some pots & pans. Bugs in the kitchen upon check in. I communicated with the host to bring us new sheets and cleaning products which he did the following day. We cleaned the refrigerator, dishwasher and the counters with windex. That alone stopped the bugs in the kitchen. We also told the host one of the sliding glass doors to the balcony didn’t lock which we felt unsafe specially during the night. He didn’t addressed it. The safe didn’t work but they did bring a key so we were able to use it. The laundry room was almost unusable since it’s packed almost to the ceiling and dirty. We felt that was a fire hazard. The condo is two units per floor, very quiet and private. The jacuzzi on the top floor is not heated. The condo could definitely use a deep cleaning and some renovation. We hope to return.

Quiet Condo
We stayed in September & it was quiet & relaxing! The views were great & the pool was very inviting! It cost us about $20 or $350 pesos to get a cab into town. The condo was very clean & easy to access! Felt very safe with 2 security gates.

Great location, spacious apartment
This place has everything you could need and a convenient location. We were a family of four and had more than enough room over the course of our 1 week stay. The views from the deck were wonderful. The location is a short drive away from the downtown PDC area and it was quiet and safe. We were there in the beginning of July and it was not crowded at all. We made use of the refrigerator, stovetop, blender, sink, and washer/dryer. There were additional appliances that we didn’t use. My only criticism is that the sectional couch is very uncomfortable. You can enjoy the massive pool or walk just a few steps over to the beautiful Caribbean. Like most places the beach has the sargassum issue, but we still enjoyed our time. My kids enjoyed the pool, there are even poolside restaurants giving the place a semi-resort feel. The location allowed us to easily visit Cozumel, Tulum, theme parks, and cenotes. If you plan to explore the area, I’d recommend renting a car- we drove everywhere. Just be aware that car rentals are very expensive in Mexico (they charge you $$$ for required insurance when you pick up) so plan that into your budget. Overall I’d recommend this place for the privacy, convenient location, spacious interior, and the view.

Perfect apartment for a beach getaway
The apartment was perfect for all of us, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. It was well equipped for a pleasant stay in family, the appliances are new. We loved the sea view and the private beach, the condo is very chilled and we could relax. This apartment was truly breathtaking. It has everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. I have never seen a bigger pool, we spend our family vacation in the sunbeds by the pool and the beach. Excellent quality in the restaurants on-site. Privacy is a must for our vacation so this apartment was perfect. The internet works like a charm. One of yhe few places in Playa Del Carmen that offers fiber optic speed. Would definitely recommend!! Host is responsive and attentive. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

We absolutely loved this apartment!!! Wonderful stay!
It was really lovely to go to this apartment, it has a very good setup. Very comfortable beds, nice Lacoste sheets, well-equipped kitchen with everything necessary, 70-75 inch smart TV in the main living room, and the internet works super fast. Everything seems in very good condition. We enjoyed the restaurants on-site and the convenience store in the reception is a big plus. We wish we could have stayed more because the views from the balcony are absolutely amazing!!!

Be aware - owner deceitful and attempts to extort
NOT as advertised!!! -Key & intercom in lobby did not work -No 2nd security lock on condo -Bedrooms - bed stained, blinds torn & moldy -Kitchen – utensils rusted & pans unusable -Living room – sofa falling apart, blinds stained & moldy -No grill/BBQ -Outdoor Jacuzzi tub dirty & not working properly -Deck furniture – broken, dirty & moldy Owner offered a $500 refund for deficiencies on checkout. A few hours later he said that I had to give him a 5star review for a refund. I did not agree and received many messages from him harassing me to agree to the review. We felt unsafe and vacated the property within 24 hours. Over the next 2 weeks he offered refunds between $500 to $1500 in exchange for 5star or no review. His actions were against VRBO extortion policy. I read reviews & felt I could not post a dishonest review. Previous negative reviews have been called lies by the owner which I know will happen to me, but I have proof in the photos that I took and could share with anyone! I plan to post on a video(look for MareazulBeware). Posting this review will cost me money (1 night for US $2000) but this was too important to not share! VRBO has done nothing for me despite 6 phone calls & many emails with screenshots of conversations with proof of the extortion and misleading advertising by the owner. VRBO does not stand behind their extortion policy! Beware property is also on other sites! This complex is very nice & I would stay in this complex at another unit.

Amazing time!
We loved this place. The resort and playa is amazing! Jorge was so helpful in many ways. We actually had an issue with the TV and reached to him. He has a repair man there the next day installing a bigger new tv. Excellent hospitality!

I have used VRBO for multiple vacations, and this was the first time I was disappointed. The location of the condo along with the beach, pools and outside facilities were great. The condo has amazing views. But unfortunately, the condo itself was very rundown with multiple problems. We purposely chose a condo so that we could cook our own food instead of being at an all-inclusive or eating out for every meal. - To start, we showed up shortly after arrival time. The cleaning lady did not complete her work (or personal laundry?) and leave until 8pm. - The stove did not work for the entire week that we were there. So we had to resort to using the oven. But then we needed to buy supplies to actually use the oven. - The dishwasher unfortunately could not wash already rinsed dishes, so the dishes still needed to be hand washed. - There were not enough bath towels nor any kitchen towels for our group of 5, until it was brought up to the owner and remedied. - Photos from the listing are clearly from when the condo was new. Not the rundown/outdated state it is currently in. Example - headboards now missing in guest bedroom. Large tears in window shades. - There was not enough toilet paper for the stay. No kleenex or paper towels on arrival. Never have I had to buy toilet paper while on vacation..... - The chaise chair on the deck had a large hole in it, so that was nonfunctional. - Multiple blinds no longer moved - but at least they stayed in the closed position so it would be dark at night... - Some of the surrounding neighbors played exceptionally loud music late at night (past 10pm), keeping us from sleeping. Just be aware of this if you're interested in this condo. I understand this is not a problem of the owners. - The beds (and couch) were horribly uncomfortable. Never had so many people at one time have such terrible sleep while on vacation in paradise. - The air conditioner in the master bedroom was extremely loud, which made sleeping a challenge. Wouldn't be a problem for people who are ok with white noise.

Used the workout facility also. all very quiet and security guards very friendly. took taxi to grocery store and that was interesting and worked out fine. I understand the cooktop is being replaced - we used the portable cooktop fine. and bought water from the convenience store at the complex entrance. thanks

Great Place With Fantastic Views
A wonderful condo well furnished and spacious. Master Suite and Bath was immense and very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and clean. Coming off the busy season the unit needed some attention to minor details. The ocean view however, will bring us back. Communication with the owner was quick and very responsive. Beach front was well taken care of and easily accessed. Elevator had no issues and the pool and resort restaurants were great. Thank You Gorge for taking care of us.

Great apartment in very nice community
It was a great stay at this apartment. We have been traveling with to little kids one of them is an infant and this place had everything we needed. The access to the beach is very close and the community has a large pool with many attractions for kids in the area. Will definitely comeback again.
