Great staff. Accommodated us as quickly as they could as we were early arrivals. Very clean, ample space in room, good beds. Only thing lacking was a refrigerator 😊 Restaurant right next door was great, many options in walking distance.

A well located Mexican gem
This is a lovely, quaint, Mexican-style hotel. The staff was great and very attentive. The hotel is very clean and located centrally in Playa del Carmen - close to the beach, the bus station and 5th Ave. If you are looking for a modern, American-style hotel, this is not for you. You may need to ask for hand towels and supply your own water but the location, the staff and the genuine atmosphere are wonderful.

I used it just for a night but the hotel doesn't have elevators , so first I ask for 1st floor room but they didnt have any available, so I have to take a bike suitcase, and all the other suitcases to the 3rd floor alone in a narrow stairs. Nobody offers any help. Definitively I am not going to recommend this hotel .

I would highly recommend staying here it is so central to everything. Fifth Avenue and central where all the entertainment is and you're a very short walk to the beach. Also a very short walk away from some delicious very cheap food, where the locals eat. Franco was absolutely amazing. Helping me to catch a collectivo for the first time even writing down instructions for the driver to let him know that I wanted to go to Cenote Azul. Excellent service. Very quiet at night but very close to absolutely everything that you need. Highly recommended.
