Great location if you're visiting Xcaret or Xenses - it's just 5 minutes away! The staff is very friendly and courteous, they moved our room location to the one on the first floor since there are so many mosquitoes on the ground floor. The pool was out of service, but this was due to the Hurricane (Beryl) and understandable.

The entire staff was amazing and the property is beautiful! The food was also really good. We enjoyed having a couple nice and relaxed family dinners and my husband and I were able to enjoy some wine under the gazebo at the end of the night while our daughters slept in the room. So grateful to Fernando, Fanny, Jose, Marcela, Nemesio, and the other young guy at the front desk, thank you for making our stay memorable and comfortable. We already miss all of you!

In the middle of the riviera jungle, super close to XCARET, we got to live a great experience. Kind of tricky to get here, got lost a couple of times due to lack of better signs ( take Calle de los Monos). Totally recommend getting here in the morning for this same reason, it’s hard to find it when it’s darker since it’s in the middle of nowhere basically. That’s the beauty of this place! Super private and quite. Iguanas and Monkeys were everywhere early in the morning while having breakfast, we even got to feed the monkeys and had an amazing Massage at their Spa, up in a private roof by Kendra and Rene. The experience was amazing and would be coming back on our next trip to the riviera maya. Totally recommend staying here!

Loved the property and all the staff was amazing. Our only complaint was that it isn’t close to much of anything. We had to either take a bus or taxi into town for shopping, dining not at the hotel or the beach. But if your looking to just relax and lay back this is totally the place for you!

Terasu is a hidden gem! Just a five minute walk from Xcaret Xplor, we relaxed at this spa like resort emerged the wilderness. We enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning an even got to feed the local wild monkeys passing through the trees… One literally came right onto our desk and took a banana from our hands! Aside from the peaceful fairy tale environment, the staff was hands down wonderful for our entire stay. They helped us get our park tickets, arrange transportation and immediately helped us with our wifi connection when the signal dropped. If I ever find myself in this area of Mexico again, I would love to come back!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!! Huge shout out to Fanny, Fernando, Jose, and Omar! They are truly such amazing people, they were so kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated and happy. Now, the hotel is beautiful! We fed monkeys every morning! This place is such a great vibe! I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Staff is beyond amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Food here is also amazing. Hotel rooms are very cute, cozy and clean. Hotel is also a good distance from clubs and restaurants. The area feels very safe as well. 10/10, I’ll most definitely be coming back. Ps, make sure to have bug spray!!

Hidden Gem
Terasu is a wonderful gem and feels like you are staying in the jungle. The location was so peaceful, we enjoyed sitting under the pergola and by the pool. The pool was small and we did not swim, but we didn't really need to as we had plans to go to Xcaret for the day. The location was very convenient to get to Xcaret (or other parks). The staff was so nice and helpful. We loved the daily monkey visits!

Such a cute small boutique hotel. Staff was beyond friendly, even giving us a banana to feed the local monkeys. Easy to find with the directions they provide. Room was very clean, bed comfortable and shower great. Wonderful value and very calm and relaxing. Wonderful stay.

Super cool jungle getaway about ten mins drive away from playa del carmen city center....Hotel very clean, Super friendly staff and the spider monkeys in the mornings makes this place so truly special!They are gentle when taking food and they dont steal sunglasses or cellphones like the ones in Asia LOL! Such a beautiful hotel with amazing staff and food. It’s surrounded by tree canopies where you can occasionally spot a spider monkey, and if your lucky, feed one too. My fiancé and I stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the peaceful surroundings. Close enough to drive to Playa del Carmen (15 minute drive) and literally walking distance from the Xenses theme park and Xplor. So glad we found this hidden gem. A special thank to Fanny and Jose who were gracious and made us feel welcomed!
