Bad Breakfast and Dirty Pool 😢
The sparkling pool is what attracted me to make the booking; it is extremely hot during this time of year and the pool had big chunks of green slime on the bottom of the pool sadly we were not able to use it; super dissappointing as the hotel is tip top as far a cleanliness goes in the rooms. Breakfast pork sausage was raw but as I had to rush off to work was not possible to have my breakfast redone. So not a good experience at all.

Really nice place to stay. Breakfast was great & restaurant was nice. We used the laundry facilities too. Convenient location to go to Birds of Eden / Jukani / Monkeyland. Would stay here again!

Fantastic value for money. Room was huge and well furnished. TV channels excellent. Grounds lovely with rabbits roaming free. Gym with sauna. Good (but small) pool with water slide. Breakfast good.

lovely place with lots to keep you busy. Very good for families. We were lucky it was quiet when we went so great for a couple but definitely more of a family resort with free roaming bunnies all over the place and lots of activities to keep the kids busy.

Great stayover, close to all the area has to offer
Lovely, spacious, two-bedroomed apartment with good quality linen on beds and beautiful and large bathrooms. Towels maybe a bit small and dated. Very clean overall, except for bread crumbs left behind on the toaster. Great for families! Lovely balcony with barbecue facilities. Kitchen well equipped. The staff was lovely and really friendly. Overall great stay!

Fun place to stay
Negatives - the pictures for the studio room are misleading. There is no air-conditioner nor bathtub in the room, but in the pictures they do represent these amenities. Also if you book this resort with hotels.com, instead of going direct, you will need to purchase a pass for the resort's games at a cost of R100. Positives- self catering studio apartment had all the necessary kitchen utensils. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Games area to keep everyone busy.

Awesome Bathroom. Although it was a business trip, I can imagine this place would suit a family. Lots to do for the kids (although not trying to be a resort).

Amazing to have a private barbecue on your own patio. Very quiet with excellent bedding and decorated with taste. Bath tub was wonderful.

Formosa Bay, the place to stay in Plett
We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of our spacious, modern room. The deck looked over a well kept garden with a sparkling water fountain. Staff were friendly and helpful. the convenience of a hair-salon and a restaurant at the hotel made our stay more relaxing.
