Country experience. Isolated.
The gite is situated on a farm property 15-20 mins from Quimper… isolated and very quiet. It is one house divided in two and the owners live in one half. There are gardens and old farm buildings surrounding but no fenced/ division from the small road that approaches the property. The owners are discrete and allowed us to use the gross area in front of the whole property. The pool is very pleasant with decking around.

Lovely house and pool in great location
We spent 2 weeks at this house and had a great time exploring the area which has lots to offer: beautiful beaches, pretty towns, cycle routes, history & nature. Olivier was an excellent host - very welcoming and helpful. The house is very well situated to explore this corner of Brittany in all directions and feels rural and peaceful whilst still offering quick access to local amenities. The pool was a lovely bonus and was clean and warm, so used every day!

A peaceful oasis
Picturesque cottage complete with private pool and a warm welcome from Olivier and family. His wife Melodie gave us all the information on the local area with restaurants and places to visit which we did!. Everything from several beaches, beautiful countryside and rural towns/villages were all within 10-15 minutes. We loved every minute of it! Many thanks, we will be back!

Lovely peaceful french hideaway
This was a lovely traditional french country house which gave us the peace and quiet of the french countryside that we were looking for on our holiday but not too far from the coast. It was a real treat to have the use of a private pool and the ping pong table too. We loved the animals particularly the cat and the friendly chicken who were regular visitors.

My family of 5 had a great stay here- beaches in 3 directions and a great pool which we went in every day. Also a great ice cream farm 3 mins away which my kids loved. Olivier very helpful and check in v smooth.

My wife, two children (4 and 5) and I stayed during the school holidays and the place was wonderful! Exactly what we were looking for from a country get away in France. The accommodation and pool were great and the communication was good from the renters. We would love to stay again some time!

Wonderful property
We were thrilled to stay here. The hosts were very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. We really liked the quiet and the animals and of course the wonderful pool. Great dark sky and could not ask for a better bed. Highly recommend.

Lovely property, location and pool
We (two adults, three kids) had a lovely week-long stay. Lucky with the weather, we enjoyed the pool, the nearby town (Quimper) and smaller villages (bakery trip every morning of course!), and several day-trips to some amazing towns and beaches. Elodie & Olivier were also very friendly hosts!

Quintessentially french cottage in tranquil setting, with lovely heated pool and areas to relax and
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable indeed. Pluguffan a five minute drive away provided a very adequate food store. Stunning beaches at Benodet and Ile Tudy and coastline within easy reach, great for walking, we only wish we had more time to walk and explore and good shopping experiences in Port L'Abbe and Quimper. We enjoyed having the different areas to sit in outside the cottage and enjoy the sun. Also the company of Reglisse! The cottage could benefit from a second toilet but this was not a problem. We definitely will be coming back. Thankyou Olivier and Elodie for your kindness and accommodation

Lovely place to relax and great pool
We've just got back from a lovely week in the Brittany countryside. I went with my wife and daughter and the pace was delightful! We drove to a different beach most days and cooked at home most evenings and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks.

Very practical. Fabulous pool.
This is not a luxury cottage in fact it is a bit rough round the edges. BUT it made a great holiday with children. At this price you do not expect a private heated pool this big. There is plenty of space outside and in. Kitchen is equipped for any needs. Games and books provided. WiFi can deliver online TV. Beds comfortable. Most of all however Olivier and Elodie are great hosts never interfering but helpful and warm when needed.

Beautiful, peaceful rural retreat
We had a wonderful holiday break at Pluguffan. The gite was great; comfortable (cool inside in the very hot weather) and generally well equipped. The private pool was a lovely extra. South Finistère was beautiful with plenty to see from pretty costal towns, medieval Quimper, fabulous beaches and some great surf for teenagers and costal walks. We enjoyed the many festivals that occurred whilst we were there and would have visited more sights if we hadn’t been distracted by the tranquility of the gite!! Elodie and Olivier were perfect hosts - thank you for all your advice on things to see and do and for the delicious welcome pack that greeted us on our arrival. Our 2 teenagers loved the kitten, all your livestock and the deer we saw roaming the fields at dusk. We will return!!

A lovely property with fantastic private pool, close to loads of great beaches. Very welcoming owner
We have just returned home from a fabulous fortnights holiday at Kersanteg near Pluguffan. The property was very comfortable and tastefully decorated with everything we needed to relax. Our 6 year old twins happily shared one of the double beds upstairs but would ideally of preferred single beds in the same room but this was not a problem. The stylish swimming pool with large deck area was enjoyed by us all and the girls swam every day. They were thrilled to play with the owners pet goat and sheep that live in the pretty grounds of the property. Exploring the local area was a joy. We visited Quimper, Pont Aven, Audierne and the market at Pont-l'Abbe as well as enjoying many of the stunning golden beaches. The local citron crepes were exceptionally tasty too! We had a wonderful holiday! Many thanks to Elodie and Olivier for the super welcome pack and extra little details that made our stay so special. The Arding Family, Wiltshire, England.

Sehr schönes Haus
Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut und wir konnten den sehr schönen Pool nicht so oft nutzen. Die Spülmaschine könnte mal ersetzt werden. Das Haus liegt sehr schön ruhig in einer Sackgasse und ideale um die Umgebung zu erkunden.

Wundervolles Haus mit schönen, nahen Ausflugszielen
Wir haben die Ferienwoche im Landhaus sehr genossen und trotz des Regenwetters an manchen Tagen viele tolle Ausflüge gemacht, ohne lange unterwegs zu sein - die Lage ist hervorragend, ruhig und zugleich guter Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungen. Die Schweine freuten sich über zahlreiche Küchenabfälle und auch Katze und Huhn statteten uns ab uns zu einen Besuch ab. Alle hatten viel Freude im Pool. Die Gastgeber Olivier und Elodie überraschten uns mit einem Präsent zur Begrüßung, gaben viele Tipps und sind sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Im nahen Pluguffan gibts jeden Tag frisches Baguette beim Bäcker und einen großen Supermarkt. Perfekt! Wir sagen vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und wünschen alles Gute!

Schöne Urlaubswoche bei typisch bretonischem Wetter
Das Haus ist im typisch bretonischen Stil und liegt in herrlicher Umgebung mit vielen interessanten Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und tollen Stränden. Der beheizte Pool ist klasse. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Einzig, das Haus verträgt mal wieder eine Grundreinigung und die Spülmaschine muss repariert oder erneuert werden.

Nice gite
The gite is very nice, beds are fine, the swimmingpool has a good temperature. The wifi was not oke, but the owner arranged a good sollution. The only negative thing is that there is no toilet downstairs.
